Best Christmas wishes from all our staff

Best Christmas wishes from The International Yachting Media

This year, you know, has brought us a Christmas like no other. Covid has affected everyone and, in the midst of thousands of difficulties, all sectors have adapted to the various restrictions currently under force. Boating industry, too, has been forced to revise its plans. Not surprisingly, many international events have been delayed or postponed (Boot Dusseldorf, for example, has been postponed to April), with only the Genoa International Boat Show successfully survived.

In such a complex context, our wishes for a Merry Christmas are more sincere than ever to face 2021 with confidence.

A little gift for you comes from our tireless editorial staff that, during these Christmas holidays, is pleased to offer our brand-new digital creature, Superyachts.news, a web magazine dedicated to large luxury boats of over 24 meters in length. Like all other our products, the magazine is and will always be free.

To our best wishes we want to add those coming from every corner and dock of the world, a world largely barricaded due to the Covid emergency but not resigned to giving up the tradition of an appointment that also unites yachting enthusiasts, scattered in every port, bay or archipelago of distant oceans.

We have therefore gone on YouTube to find some funny videos that show how Christmas is celebrated aboard illuminated yachts, with a Santa Claus hat and a bathing suit for those living in warm countries like Florida. The following are truly spectacular videos that will make you smile and, why not, also give you some interesting ideas to plan your next Christmas offshore, when all this Covid will be just a memory.

Of course, all the clips date back to last year, when face masks and social distancing were not required.

Our wish is that we can all sail again soon in a regular life.

He has been working in publishing for more than 30 years and continues to sail incessantly, especially aboard the editorial staff's boat, an old lady of the seas that he has completely rebuilt and which serves excellently as a "mobile laboratory" for The International Yachting Media.
