M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las razones est\u00e9ticas, el antiincrustante se aplica peri\u00f3dicamente a las embarcaciones porque la acumulaci\u00f3n de flora y fauna a largo plazo reduce el rendimiento de la embarcaci\u00f3n y puede da\u00f1ar el casco. Sin embargo, hay muchos tipos diferentes de este producto en el mercado, y no todos los propietarios de embarcaciones tienen los conocimientos necesarios para saber cu\u00e1l es la mejor opci\u00f3n. De hecho, el antiincrustante debe seleccionarse en funci\u00f3n del tipo de embarcaci\u00f3n y de su uso, as\u00ed como de las aguas en las que navega o est\u00e1 amarrada. En cualquier caso, es beneficioso para los propietarios de embarcaciones tener unos conocimientos b\u00e1sicos sobre la preparaci\u00f3n y protecci\u00f3n del casco, para no depender \u00fanicamente de los astilleros. Por eso hemos preparado una gu\u00eda completa sobre antiincrustantes para barcos, con la ayuda de <b>Gianluca Sansonna<\/b>, de Lechler, que produce una amplia gama de revestimientos marinos bajo la marca Stoppani.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-132191 size-full\" title=\"antiincrustante\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/antivegetativa-1600x899-1.webp\" alt=\"antiincrustante\" width=\"1600\" height=\"899\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/antivegetativa-1600x899-1.webp 1600w, https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/antivegetativa-1600x899-1-300x169.webp 300w, https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/antivegetativa-1600x899-1-768x432.webp 768w, https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/antivegetativa-1600x899-1-1536x863.webp 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\">Antifouling para barcos: qu\u00e9 es y para qu\u00e9 sirve<\/h2>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">El antiincrustante es un revestimiento de pintura que se aplica a la parte sumergida de las embarcaciones (llamada \u00abcasco\u00bb) para protegerla del asentamiento de incrustaciones (t\u00e9rmino utilizado para describir a los crust\u00e1ceos en el casco). \u00bb <i>Sin esta protecci\u00f3n, las incrustaciones, al cambiar el perfil y a\u00f1adir peso al casco, ralentizar\u00edan la embarcaci\u00f3n, aumentar\u00edan el consumo de combustible y, en algunos casos, da\u00f1ar\u00edan gravemente el casco\u00bb, <\/i> explica Sansonna.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Como todos los productos de pintura, los antiincrustantes contienen resinas, disolventes, pigmentos e ingredientes activos (componentes biocidas). Estos \u00faltimos evitan la formaci\u00f3n de costras biol\u00f3gicas en el casco. Seg\u00fan el mecanismo de liberaci\u00f3n de estos componentes, los antiincrustantes pueden agruparse esencialmente en dos categor\u00edas principales:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">Antifouling de matriz dura<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\">: Este tipo libera los principios activos lentamente a lo largo del tiempo, independientemente del movimiento de la embarcaci\u00f3n. Es adecuado tanto para embarcaciones r\u00e1pidas como para las de velocidad moderada.  <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n  <span lang=\"en-US\">Antifouling de matriz blanda <\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n  <span lang=\"en-US\">(com\u00fanmente conocido como \u00ab<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n  <span lang=\"en-US\">autopulimentable<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n  <span lang=\"en-US\">\u00ab)<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\">: Este tipo libera la pintura (no s\u00f3lo los biocidas) por contacto con el agua durante la navegaci\u00f3n, desgast\u00e1ndose con el uso y evitando as\u00ed la acumulaci\u00f3n de espesor. Aqu\u00ed tienes sus recomendaciones:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Nunca apliques un antiincrustante de matriz dura sobre un antiincrustante autopulimentable previamente aplicado.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">En caso de duda sobre la compatibilidad o con antiincrustantes antiguos cuya compatibilidad se desconozca, aplica una capa de imprimaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Mezcla bien el producto antes de aplicarlo.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">La aplicaci\u00f3n debe seguir las cantidades indicadas en la ficha t\u00e9cnica, ya que aplicar menos cantidad de la recomendada comprometer\u00e1 la duraci\u00f3n de la protecci\u00f3n antiincrustante.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Siempre son necesarias dos capas de antiincrustante, con una tercera de refuerzo en las zonas de mayor desgaste.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Respeta siempre los tiempos de lanzamiento indicados en la ficha t\u00e9cnica.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Elegir el antiincrustante adecuado requiere tener en cuenta varios factores, como el tipo de embarcaci\u00f3n, la velocidad, los productos existentes, la calidad del agua y la normativa dejarse envejecer, sobre todo si es un casco antiguo de madera<\/i> -subraya Sansonna-.  <i>Por tanto, el antiincrustante debe aplicarse al casco al menos cada dos a\u00f1os. Adem\u00e1s, hay dos situaciones en las que es mejor volver a la imprimaci\u00f3n original en lugar de aplicar una capa nueva sobre la capa existente. Estas situaciones se dan cuando no sabemos qu\u00e9 antiincrustante se ha aplicado previamente al casco y cuando tenemos una matriz distinta de la que queremos aplicar\u00bb.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n  <span lang=\"en-US\">Madera<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\">.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>  \u00abLa madera sigue teniendo una importancia significativa en el entorno n\u00e1utico. Esto se debe a su tradici\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica (barcos de \u00e9poca) y a su elegancia natural, que lo hacen pr\u00e1cticamente insustituible en el mobiliario y las cubiertas de los barcos de alta gama.  <\/i><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/es\/\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/es\/\">barcos.<\/a><\/a><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>  En realidad, la madera tambi\u00e9n tiene una serie de caracter\u00edsticas tecnol\u00f3gicas que la convierten en un material interesante en el entorno n\u00e1utico. La madera puede considerarse un material compuesto natural, procedente de recursos renovables, ligero, econ\u00f3mico y f\u00e1cil de trabajar. Sin embargo, su elevado peso espec\u00edfico y su escasa resistencia a la corrosi\u00f3n son inconvenientes importantes. El acero al carbono se utiliza en la construcci\u00f3n naval, y durante las fases de construcci\u00f3n, el material no tiene revestimiento protector. En este estado desprotegido, el metal desnudo se oxida r\u00e1pidamente, por lo que debe protegerse con una imprimaci\u00f3n epoxi adecuada inmediatamente despu\u00e9s del chorreado\u00bb.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section
