Aunque esto pueda parecer poco, es importante recordar que se trata de horas de motor, no del tiempo total de uso de la embarcaci\u00f3n (despu\u00e9s de todo, con las embarcaciones r\u00e1pidas, incluso las largas distancias pueden recorrerse en pocas horas). <\/p><p>La diferencia en el consumo de combustible a una velocidad media de 30 nudos para un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/es\/magazzu-mx-11-coupe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MX-11 -as\u00ed<\/a>como para un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/maxi-rib-tests\/magazzu-mx-13-gran-coupe-video-test\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MX-13- con<\/a>motores diesel frente a los de gasolina es de unos 30 litros por hora m\u00e1s con los motores de gasolina. Esto significa que a lo largo de una temporada -bas\u00e1ndonos en 40 horas de motor- e incluso suponiendo una velocidad constante de 30 nudos, se consumir\u00edan 1.200 litros m\u00e1s de combustible. Teniendo en cuenta que los precios del combustible son ahora bastante similares, esto supondr\u00eda unos 2.300 euros al a\u00f1o como m\u00e1ximo.  <\/p><p>Por otra parte, la diferencia en el coste de compra entre los dos tipos de motores es de unos 40.000 euros + IVA m\u00e1s para los motores di\u00e9sel en comparaci\u00f3n con las unidades equivalentes de gasolina.<\/p><p>Ni que decir tiene que esto significar\u00eda alcanzar el equilibrio s\u00f3lo al cabo de unos 20 a\u00f1os&#8230; demasiado tiempo.<\/p><p>A menos, claro est\u00e1, que la elecci\u00f3n est\u00e9 motivada por otros factores, entre los que suele destacar la preocupaci\u00f3n por llevar gasolina a bordo. Conviene aclarar que los motores modernos ya no tienen el problema de la evaporaci\u00f3n de la gasolina de los carburadores, ya que ahora son todos de inyecci\u00f3n.  Adem\u00e1s, nuestros barcos est\u00e1n equipados con sistemas adecuados de ventilaci\u00f3n de la sala de m\u00e1quinas mediante extractores de aire espec\u00edficos (\u00absopladores\u00bb), as\u00ed como \u00abolfateadores\u00bb especiales, sensores que detectan (y activan una alarma) cualquier presencia de vapores de gasolina.<\/p><p>Un uso m\u00e1s intensivo de la embarcaci\u00f3n puede (o debe) desplazar naturalmente la preferencia hacia los motores diesel. Si con 40 horas al a\u00f1o la balanza se inclina hacia la gasolina, las cosas cambian claramente cuando el uso se aproxima -o supera- las 100 horas anuales. <\/p><p>Otra necesidad que se destaca a menudo es la posibilidad de compartir combustible con un \u00abbarco nodriza\u00bb cuando se utilizan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazzu.com\/en\/\"> semirr\u00edgidas <\/a>como auxiliares. Tambi\u00e9n en este caso, por razones pr\u00e1cticas, la elecci\u00f3n puede recaer en la propulsi\u00f3n diesel. <\/p><p>Por \u00faltimo, tambi\u00e9n merece la pena tener en cuenta que las embarcaciones equipadas con motores di\u00e9sel conservan mejor su valor y son m\u00e1s atractivas para la reventa en el mercado de segunda mano que las equipadas con motores de gasolina, sobre todo cuando el n\u00famero de horas del motor es elevado.<\/p><p>En conclusi\u00f3n, todo lo anterior sugiere que los motores de gasolina son aconsejables para un uso moderado (que, para que quede claro, no difiere del uso t\u00edpico de los fueraborda), mientras que los motores di\u00e9sel se convierten en la opci\u00f3n preferible cuando se prev\u00e9 un elevado n\u00famero de horas de motor.<\/p><h3 class=\"western\">Para los barcos, \u00bfes mejor un motor de gasolina o di\u00e9sel?
