Filippetti S 55 lands at the Palma International Boat Show

Filippetti Yacht will join the Palma International Boat Show with the iconic S 55

After having been presented in all her beauty at the 60th Genoa Boat Show
last October – a kermesse which marked her absolute debut in Europe – the Filippetti S55 lands in the Balearic islands for her second continental “catwalk”. The Filippetti Yacht luxury open yacht, in fact, will be exhibited at the Palma International Boat Show, which will be held from June 3rd to 6th at the Marina Moll Vell in Palma de Mallorca.

The Spanish boat show, which kicks off the exhibition season of the famous Italian shipyard, will see the S 55 moored at Dock 1 -Mooring 405. Visitors will be welcomed by the staff of Filippetti’s dealer Sport Yacht.

Masterfully designed by Davide Cipriani, this sporty coupé measuring over 14 meters is distinguished by sleek and aggressive lines which make it elegant and eye-catching.

Once climbed on board, customers will be able to appreciated the large spaces made surprisingly chameleonic by the blurred division between the interior and the exterior environment, which, on the S 55, is an almost abstract and changeable concept.

Mr. Cipriani, in fact, has managed to create a large penthouse on the sea by exploiting the “territorial continuity” between the cockpit and the salon, an effect that is not only optical but, also and above all, functional thanks to the glass door that disappears under the deck and doubles the space, thus breaking down the boundary between inside and outside. All this is an exclusive, refined and comfortable context, in which the volumes are generous and safety is tangible.

Equally luxurious is the sleeping area which,
with its magnificent master suite – the pride of the large lower deck completed by two VIP cabins, two heads and a hallway with a kitchenette – can be considered as a real floating modern, spacious and luxurious apartment.

Power comes from twin Volvo Penta D13- IPS 1200 engines, 900HP each, capable of delivering a top speed of 40 knots; not bad for the IPS version, which is the “quietest” of the options available.
