Ce chiffre peut sembler faible, mais il est important de se rappeler qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;heures de moteur, et non d&rsquo;heures d&rsquo;utilisation globale du bateau (apr\u00e8s tout, avec les bateaux rapides, m\u00eame les longues distances peuvent \u00eatre parcourues en quelques heures seulement). <\/p><p>La diff\u00e9rence de consommation de carburant \u00e0 une vitesse moyenne de 30 n\u0153uds pour un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/magazzu-mx-11-coupe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MX-11 &#8211; ainsi que<\/a>pour un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/maxi-rib-tests\/magazzu-mx-13-gran-coupe-video-test\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MX-13 &#8211; avec des<\/a>moteurs diesel par rapport \u00e0 des moteurs \u00e0 essence est d&rsquo;environ 30 litres par heure de plus avec les moteurs \u00e0 essence. Cela signifie qu&rsquo;au cours d&rsquo;une saison &#8211; sur la base de 40 heures de fonctionnement du moteur &#8211; et m\u00eame en supposant une vitesse constante de 30 n\u0153uds, 1 200 litres de carburant suppl\u00e9mentaires seraient consomm\u00e9s. Si l&rsquo;on consid\u00e8re que les prix des carburants sont aujourd&rsquo;hui relativement similaires, cela repr\u00e9senterait environ 2 300 euros par an au maximum.  <\/p><p>En revanche, la diff\u00e9rence de co\u00fbt d&rsquo;achat entre les deux types de moteurs est d&rsquo;environ 40 000 euros + TVA de plus pour les moteurs diesel que pour les moteurs \u00e0 essence \u00e9quivalents.<\/p><p>Inutile de dire que cela signifierait que le seuil de rentabilit\u00e9 ne serait atteint qu&rsquo;au bout d&rsquo;une vingtaine d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es, ce qui est beaucoup trop long.<\/p><p>\u00c0 moins, bien s\u00fbr, que le choix ne soit motiv\u00e9 par d&rsquo;autres facteurs, au premier rang desquels figure souvent la crainte d&rsquo;avoir de l&rsquo;essence \u00e0 bord. Il convient de pr\u00e9ciser que les moteurs modernes ne connaissent plus le probl\u00e8me de l&rsquo;\u00e9vaporation de l&rsquo;essence dans les carburateurs, puisqu&rsquo;ils sont d\u00e9sormais tous \u00e0 injection. En outre, nos bateaux sont \u00e9quip\u00e9s de syst\u00e8mes de ventilation ad\u00e9quats dans la salle des machines, avec des extracteurs d&rsquo;air (\u00ab\u00a0souffleurs\u00a0\u00bb), ainsi que de \u00ab\u00a0renifleurs\u00a0\u00bb sp\u00e9ciaux, des capteurs qui d\u00e9tectent (et d\u00e9clenchent une alarme) toute pr\u00e9sence de vapeurs d&rsquo;essence.  <\/p><p>Une utilisation plus intensive du bateau peut (ou doit) naturellement faire pencher la balance en faveur des moteurs diesel. Si, avec 40 heures par an, la balance penche en faveur de l&rsquo;essence, les choses changent clairement lorsque l&rsquo;utilisation approche &#8211; ou d\u00e9passe &#8211; les 100 heures par an. <\/p><p>Un autre besoin souvent soulign\u00e9 est la possibilit\u00e9 de partager le carburant avec un \u00ab\u00a0navire-m\u00e8re\u00a0\u00bb lorsque les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazzu.com\/en\/\"> semi-rigides <\/a>sont utilis\u00e9s comme annexes. Dans ce cas \u00e9galement, pour des raisons pratiques, le choix peut se porter sur la propulsion diesel. <\/p><p>Enfin, il convient \u00e9galement de tenir compte du fait que les bateaux \u00e9quip\u00e9s d&rsquo;un moteur diesel conservent une meilleure valeur et sont plus faciles \u00e0 revendre sur le march\u00e9 de l&rsquo;occasion que les bateaux \u00e9quip\u00e9s d&rsquo;un moteur \u00e0 essence, en particulier lorsque le nombre d&rsquo;heures de fonctionnement du moteur est \u00e9lev\u00e9.<\/p><p>En conclusion, tout ce qui pr\u00e9c\u00e8de sugg\u00e8re que les moteurs \u00e0 essence sont conseill\u00e9s pour une utilisation mod\u00e9r\u00e9e (ce qui, pour \u00eatre clair, n&rsquo;est pas diff\u00e9rent de l&rsquo;utilisation typique des hors-bords), tandis que les moteurs diesel deviennent le choix pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable lorsqu&rsquo;un nombre \u00e9lev\u00e9 d&rsquo;heures de fonctionnement est pr\u00e9vu.<\/p><h3 class=\"western\">Pour les bateaux, vaut-il mieux un moteur \u00e0 essence ou un moteur diesel ?
