Alia Yachts launches GENIE BLU, the 45 metre custom yacht featuring essential design and maximum contact with the sea

Alia Yachts has announced the launch of GENIE BLU, a new 45-meter full-custom yacht that confirms the Turkish shipyard’s ability to interpret and turn its owners’ most ambitious and personal visions into reality.

Long, sleek, and extremely elegant, GENIE BLU stands out at first glance for her low, streamlined profile, an essential architectural language, and a strong pursuit of balance between aesthetics, functionality, and livability. This project deliberately chooses to distance itself from contemporary yachting’s dominant trends—which often focus on maximizing interior volume—to instead privilege an authentic cruising experience and a direct connection with the sea. The result is a refined and contemporary yacht featuring fold-down bulwarks, large full-height windows, and spaces designed to eliminate any barrier between guests and the surrounding environment.

GENIE BLU upends the industry’s traditional design logic,” stated Gökhan Çelik, President of Alia Yachts. “Instead of maximizing internal volume, this project focuses on purity of form, proportions, and the owner’s experience. She is a completely custom, deliberately unconventional yacht—exactly the kind of vessel we love to build.”

GENIE BLU: A Yacht Designed Around the Sea Experience

The project was developed by Alia Yachts’ in-house technical department in close collaboration with the Italian studio Luca Dini Design & Architecture, which refined the exterior styling and fully oversaw the interior development. The vessel’s entire concept revolves around a precise principle: placing the sea at the heart of the onboard experience. This philosophy emerges with particular clarity in the main salon, where the large full-height windows and open-space layout almost completely eliminate the boundary between indoors and outdoors.

The interiors feature a contemporary, elegant, and understated design. Materials, colors, and finishes follow a neutral and relaxing palette, masterfully curated to enhance natural light and marine vistas without competing with them.

Open Spaces and Innovative Architectural Solutions

The exterior areas were also designed following the same philosophy of openness and connection with the environment. Aft, a spectacular sequence of steps connects the cockpit to the swim platform, creating a natural continuity between the yacht and the sea. The fold-down side bulwarks further expand the available deck space, transforming the beach club area into a true terrace on the water.

Forward, a spacious lounge area is dedicated to relaxation and socializing, while a discreet sunpad has been integrated into the superstructure, helping to keep the vessel’s overall silhouette clean and balanced.

The project is based on the concept of subtraction rather than addition,” explains Luca Dini. “We eliminated barriers, reduced unnecessary volume, and opened up the yacht wherever possible. The goal was not to maximize gross tonnage, but to maximize the owner’s experience in contact with the sea.

A New Example of Alia Yachts’ Full-Custom Philosophy

With the launch of GENIE BLU, Alia Yachts further strengthens its reputation in the fully customized yacht segment, where design, innovation, and build quality combine to bring unique vessels to life. Indeed, the new 45-meter represents a tangible example of how the concept of luxury is evolving in the nautical sector: no longer just large volumes and opulence, but spaces tailored to offer authentic experiences, well-being, and a more intense relationship with the ocean.

Thanks to her distinctive silhouette, meticulous attention to detail, and a design vision that privileges the essential over the superfluous, GENIE BLU stands out as one of the most intriguing custom projects to recently hit the water, confirming once again Alia Yachts’ ability to build out-of-the-box vessels with a strong identity.
