ICE Yachts brings the world debut of the ICE80 Blue Water and ICE70 Sport to Cannes

ICE Yachts is preparing to be among the stars of the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, scheduled from September 8 to 13. The shipyard will present the world premiere of two models destined to represent the evolution of its construction philosophy: the ICE80 Blue Water and the ICE70 Sport. These are two yachts that differ in size and purpose, yet are united by the same pursuit of excellence, capable of interpreting modern sailing through two complementary spirits: that of grand ocean cruising and that of maximum sports performance.

ICE80 Blue Water: The New Flagship of Grand Cruising

With its length of 23.99 meters, the ICE80 Blue Water becomes the shipyard’s new flagship and represents the ultimate expression of the fast cruiser concept according to ICE Yachts. Designed by Felci Yacht Design, the yacht combines elegant, sleek lines with a top-tier technical setup, offering sports performance without sacrificing the comfort required for long ocean voyages.

The profile stands out for its characteristic reverse sheerline, the large glass surfaces of the coachroof, and the innovative curved windshield inspired by the famous 1960s Riva Super Aquarama: a solution that combines protection, elegance, and functionality.

The entire structure is made of full carbon via vacuum infusion with epoxy resins, a choice that keeps weight down while maintaining high structural rigidity. Among the most significant technical elements are:

  • APM telescopic carbon keel with a variable draft from 3.10 to 4.70 meters;
  • High-modulus carbon mast and boom with an integrated in-boom furler;
  • JP3 steering system with an autoclave-molded carbon rudder stock;
  • Deck equipment that is completely flush/retractable;
  • 48-Volt electrical system, developed to reduce weight and increase efficiency.

The sail plan includes a 180 m² mainsail, a 155 m² jib, and a 500 m² A2 gennaker, while propulsion is provided by a 250 hp Cummins engine.

ICE70 Sport: The High-Performance Fast Cruiser

Alongside the flagship, the new ICE70 Sport will make its debut, representing the evolution of the shipyard’s sportier range. Measuring 21.30 meters in length, it was created to offer high performance both during long-distance cruising and on international racing circuits, while maintaining high standards of comfort. Once again, the project is signed by Felci Yacht Design, featuring a construction that combines a hybrid glass/carbon hull with an entirely carbon deck.

Among the most interesting technical solutions, the lifting keel with Cariboni hydraulics stands out, allowing the draft to vary from 2.75 to 4.47 meters, which enables both high performance and access to shallower waters. The rig includes an Axxon carbon mast and boom, a furling boom, Harken electric winches, and a sail plan with a 150 m² mainsail, a 115 m² jib, a 388 m² A2 gennaker, and a 46 m² storm jib.

Propulsion is provided by a 230 hp Yanmar engine with a V-Drive transmission, while below deck, the interiors combine a sporty layout with premium finishes and technological solutions dedicated to offshore sailing.
