NICO CAPONETTO IS THE NEW EDITOR IN CHIEF OF BOATANDBOATS

Nico Caponetto, a Piedmontese journalist with a 35-year experience, is the new Editor in Chief of Boatandboats magazine.

Nico has been collaborating with Boatandboats since 2015 and he is one among the journalists our readers follow the most.

He took his first steps very soon, in the world of newspapers and, above all, chronicle, the hotbed of the best Italian journalists. Over 15 years ago, he became a nautical journalist and started to take on some increasingly more important roles for the best Italian newspapers. Nico Caponetto is also a skipper and instructor and he has experienced many ocean crossings during his career.

“Our media is a unique reality in the international yachting publishing landscape – says Nico Caponetto. The innovative digital strategy and internationalization are the key to our success in every corner of the world”

Boatandboats has progressively become a leader in the worldwide nautical publishing and, thanks to its unique and inimitable editorial method, it publishes and spreads its articles in 198 different countries in the world and in three different languages: Italian, English and Spanish. Active on all social channels, Boatandboats registers overs 700,000 views a week.

The number of our registered users (all spontaneous!) are significantly increasing, too. Every day, they read and use the 10 different sections of our portal in its different international versions:  Tuttobarche – Boatandboats – Todoslosbarcos.

“I’ve been working for Boatandboats for 2 years and what I’ve always liked is the dialogue with our readers – claims the new Editor in Chief – The beauty of this media is its bidirectionality made possible by digital technology, which allows us to understand the real yachtsmen’s needs and develop articles and editorial products actually useful for them” .

Nico has invited another important Italian nautical journalist, Giacomo Giulietti, to join Boatandboats’ team.  We’ll enjoy his contribution in the next few hours.

Giacomo Giulietti
