Ocean Alexander 32L: new unit sold in Fort Lauderdale

Ocean Alexander once again confirms its ability to attract passionate, detail-oriented owners, announcing the sale of a new Ocean Alexander 32L to a Fort Lauderdale client making his debut with the American shipyard. The deal, the result of a direct and highly personalized approach, was handled by Bruce Siler, Ocean Alexander Brand Manager at MarineMax, in collaboration with Steve Hall of Great Southern Yacht Sales, who represented the buyer.

Contrary to to the usual practice of relying on showrooms or boat shows, the presentation of the Ocean Alexander 32L took place directly on board the client’s current yacht, a 92-footer from 2020. Equipped with an iPad, Siler was able to walk through every single detail of the vessel, guiding the owner through a virtual tour that immediately captured his interest and enthusiasm. Just one meeting was enough to convince the client, who quickly decided to move forward with the purchase.

Ocean Alexander 32L: superyacht elegance and performance

The client was especially impressed by the hull’s classic lines and the spacious, airy interiors—elements that make the 32L instantly recognizable.

More specifically, the yacht successfully combines imposing exterior volumes with highly livable interiors, offering five cabins along with a full-beam master stateroom on the main deck designed as a true private retreat. Expansive windows, improved crew circulation, and generous living spaces—typically found on larger yachts—further enhance the onboard experience.

Designed to blend luxury with performance, the Ocean Alexander 32L has an overall length of 32.49 meters (106’7”) and a beam of 7.06 meters (23’2”). Power comes from twin MAN V12 engines, each delivering 1,900 horsepower, while a 4,000-gallon fuel capacity and 210 gross tons of interior volume confirm its long-range cruising capabilities, allowing it to handle demanding passages without compromise.

With the 32L, we aimed to create warm, inviting interiors that reflect how owners want to live on board today – explains Dan Mundy, Head of Global Operations at Ocean AlexanderWe focused on natural materials and a residential sense of comfort, enhanced by our collaboration with Poltrona Frau for selected sofas and armchairs. The result is a refined and welcoming atmosphere, without losing the scale and sophistication that have always defined an Ocean Alexander”.

For Siler, the sale also highlights the strength of the brand: “I’m in love with the Ocean Alexander brand. As Brand Manager for MarineMax, I have complete confidence in what these yachts deliver—build quality, advanced systems, and interior and exterior spaces that continue to set the standard in the industry. Presenting an OA means showcasing a yacht that excels not only in design, but also in the ownership and cruising experience”.

The sale of this Ocean Alexander 32L once again confirms the shipyard’s ability to interpret the evolving needs of modern owners, reinforcing its role as a benchmark in the luxury megayacht segment.
