Catamarans and multihulls

Outremer in Miami with two catamarans and a training seminar

The Outremer catamarans are already on they way to Miami, ready to captivate thousands of visitors. The French builder will participate in the Miami International Boat Show 2024, one of the most prestigious yachting events globally, scheduled from February 14 to 18. The showcased yachts will be the flagship models of the shipyard, namely the Outremer 52 and the Outremer 55.

We’ve previously praised the remarkable features of the Outremer 55 in a recent sea trial. As the flagship of the French builder, it is a practically perfect sailing boat – stable and spacious, designed to be both fast and easy to handle. It’s an extraordinary and unparalleled catamaran in the market, which has truly enchanted us.

Equally impressive is the Outremer 52, the latest model launched by the French shipyard and already in contention for the prestigious European Yacht of the Year 2024 award. The exhibited model in the United States is currently crossing the ocean after departing from La Grande Motte, where the French shipyard is headquartered. The AWEN, owned by Holly and Stephane, is undertaking an adventurous transatlantic journey with the final destination planned in Miami. There’s no better guarantee of the catamaran’s incredible performance than this long sea voyage.

A seminar to fulfill sailing dreams

The shipyard’s presence in Miami goes beyond showcasing these two catamarans; it includes an engaging learning opportunity for sea travel enthusiasts. The seminar titled “Grande Croisière” allows participants to pose any questions to seasoned sailors who have undertaken extensive journeys aboard Outremer catamarans. Experts, instructors, and experienced sailors will take turns addressing curiosities and assisting potential boat owners in planning offshore adventures. The French shipyard, in fact, specializes in manufacturing boats ideal for such purposes, both high-performing and comfortable for long distances.

Among the seminar speakers are Holly and Stephane, owners of the Outremer 52 AWEN that will be displayed at the Miami Boat Show. The two sailors will share their navigation experience, recounting the adventures and milestones of their extended voyage on the catamaran, serving as witnesses on how to tackle such a journey aboard a multihull.

Throughout the seminar, attendees can propose sea travel ideas, receive advice on the most suitable catamaran for their needs, or simply learn about various services offered by the French shipyard. This includes the “Outremer Academy” educational offerings, global events, post-sales support, and financing options for purchasing a boat.

The “Grande Croisière” seminar is scheduled for
Saturday, February 17th, at 8:30 AM. To register and access the detailed program, visit https://bluewaterseminar.eventmaker.io.
