Pardo Yachts unveils the new Pardo 43: the evolution of an icon

Among the “pure” walkarounds, the Pardo 43 is the model that changed the rules of the game. Launched in 2017 and with over 300 units delivered, it returns with a major update: not just a simple restyling, but a refinement that preserves the original DNA while bringing more light, more functionality, and an even sportier personality on board.

“The first Pardo 43 was born from a clear vision, to create something truly distinctive: a walkaround yacht that could combine performance, elegance, and onboard comfort like never before – says Gigi Servidati, President of Cantiere del Pardo Its incredible success is a testament to that vision. But for us, success has never meant standing still. This new version is neither a revolution nor a simple restyling, but a natural evolution”.

Line, details, personality

The new profile keeps the unmistakable reverse bow and descending sheerline, enhanced by new hull windows that bring natural light below deck. Nauta Design introduces the swoosh line, a molding that lightens the view of the stern and integrates the external air intakes: an aesthetic and functional choice that reduces noise underway.

The carbon T-Top grows by 30% in surface area and is now integrated with the tempered glass windshield, a solution that increases rigidity and creates a cleaner look. The electric bimini, positioned higher up, frees up headroom.

Deck: smart conviviality

The stern features a redesigned hydraulic up&down platform with improved drainage, an electric swim ladder, and an integrated gangway. The garage accommodates tender and toys with direct access through a lift-up cushion: a simple idea that avoids opening the entire sunbed.

The sunbed itself, longer and sleeker, adopts an overhanging spoiler effect inspired by the GT52. In the cockpit, the modular table comfortably seats 10 guests and converts into a double sunbed. The redesigned handrails run along the walkaround side decks all the way to the bow, where a new forward-facing bench creates an additional open-air lounge.

The Foster galley has been expanded and made modular: induction cooktop, Kenyon barbecue, and refrigerators are paired with redesigned storage compartments. The access step is now integrated and magnetic, reducing visible hardware.

Pardo 43, helm station and automation

The deeper, more spacious helm station integrates a new boat automation interface developed with Garmin and customized for Pardo Yachts: from here you can control systems, interior and exterior lighting (including underwater) with preset scenarios and color variations, including the “Miami Package.” The larger windshield increases protection, while a redesigned anchor roller expands the bow’s functionality.

Life on board: comfort and stability

Although conceived as a dayboat, the new Pardo 43 leans toward a cruiser in terms of comfort. The Dometic air conditioning serves the interiors, bathroom, and helm station. Seakeeper or Quick stabilizers are available, while Starlink connectivity brings satellite internet even while underway. Underwater lights enhance the evening experience at anchor.

Pardo 43, interiors by Nauta Design

For the first time, the interiors bear the signature of Nauta Design. Two layouts are available: an owner’s cabin forward and a double cabin aft, or a dinette convertible into a double berth. The real innovation is the dinette-lounge: a space where you can work or relax in a semi-reclined position, air-conditioned and filled with light thanks to the new windows.

The aft cabin gains 8 cm in height, textile and wood paneling replace exposed fiberglass, and an updated shading system controls light and privacy. The air-conditioned bathroom, 32-inch TV, new wood finishes, and ambient lighting create a warm and sophisticated atmosphere.

Propulsion: IPS and outboard

The new Pardo 43 introduces for the first time the option of choosing between IPS and outboard propulsion:
• Inboard: two Volvo IPS 500 standard, with IPS 600 or IPS 650 as options.
• Outboard (43R): three Mercury V10 engines with 400 hp (standard) or three Mercury V12 engines with 600 hp (optional).

Each configuration has a dedicated hull, developed specifically to optimize performance and handling. The IPS version reaches 37 knots, while the outboard 43R exceeds 50 knots, offering two different souls but sharing the same DNA.

I was born in Liguria, a stone's throw from the sea, with which I have a special and unbreakable relationship. Since middle school I had clear ideas: I wanted to be a journalist. I like to inform myself, understand what is going on around me and build my own opinion. After a few years in Milan, between study and work, during which I gained work and life experiences, the call of the sea became too strong and I moved back to my home.
