PERINI LAUNCHES A NEW AMAZING 47-METRE-SAILING YACHT

Perini Navi’s last creationis an amazing 47-metre-sailing yacht called S/Y C 2.331. Last months, we told you about the arrival of new Sybaris and Dahlak, now it’s the turn of another boat with astonishing numbers: just to give you an example, the sailing aera is 2,135 square m wide while maximum draught is 9.5 m.

The boat will be entirely made of aluminium (laden displacement reaches 310 tons) and she shows, as usual to this yard, extremely elegant lines. Both design and sailing area project are by the design department of the yard.

This yacht presents lots of high-tech elements, which are the result of the long Perini’s experience in the field of sailing big boats: a fly-by-wire steering system, with twin rudders for a greater manoeuvrability; a futuristic keel movement system which allows to reduce draught up to 3.9 m and a construction able to reduce weights not compromising comfort.

The boat can be provided with two Caterpillar 310 kW engines and a generous fuel tank (20,000 l) for a cruising range of 3,500 miles.

The main deck extends over a 200-square-metre area, in addition to an external 142-square-metre one. On the bow, there’s a “hidden” main tender but there’s also enough room for an outdoor living zone, in addition to the existing flybridge and a boundless astern beach club.

Interiors layout can, of course, be custom-made according to the owners’ needs but always on the basis of a standard configuration with three guest cabins and a full-bream master cabin equipped with an office zone. Finally, four cabins can receive the 8 crew members.
