Nada extremo, mas o suficiente para <b>colocar qualquer barco \u00e0 prova<\/b>.<br>Come\u00e7amos em marcha lenta, 700 rpm, fazendo 4,5 n\u00f3s com um consumo instant\u00e2neo de combust\u00edvel de 0,89 gal\u00f5es por hora. \u00c9 um ritmo de deslocamento tranquilo, mas o Aquila 42 claramente n\u00e3o foi constru\u00eddo para ficar l\u00e1 por muito tempo.  <\/p><p>Empurramos os aceleradores para frente. A 12 n\u00f3s, o casco come\u00e7a a se elevar ligeiramente e a esteira se estende &#8211; j\u00e1 estamos no modo de semi-planagem. Sem muito esfor\u00e7o extra, o barco acelera suavemente at\u00e9 18 n\u00f3s, e <b>\u00e9 a\u00ed que o foil entra em a\u00e7\u00e3o<\/b>. N\u00e3o se trata de um foil &#8220;voador&#8221; como os dos monocascos de corrida, mas de uma<b> l\u00e2mina hidrodin\u00e2mica<\/b> que gera eleva\u00e7\u00e3o, aliviando o casco em <b>quase metade do seu peso<\/b>. O resultado \u00e9 um passeio excepcionalmente suave que permanece fluido e silencioso mesmo em mares agitados. Podemos sentir a diferen\u00e7a: o barco desliza sobre a \u00e1gua em vez de cort\u00e1-la. Os aceleradores avan\u00e7am e os Volvo D6s g\u00eameos respondem prontamente. O Aquila 42 Coupe acelera avidamente, sem mostrar o menor sinal de tens\u00e3o. Os instrumentos sobem &#8211; 37 n\u00f3s, depois 40, chegando a <b>41,3 n\u00f3s com carga total,<\/b> ainda contra o mar. Mesmo nessas velocidades, o manuseio permanece est\u00e1vel e o conforto a bordo nunca \u00e9 comprometido. \u00c9 aqui que realmente apreciamos a diferen\u00e7a de um catamar\u00e3 bem projetado: os cascos duplos cortam a \u00e1gua com resist\u00eancia m\u00ednima, enquanto o foil mant\u00e9m a plataforma do conv\u00e9s quase perfeitamente nivelada.     <\/p><p>Diminu\u00edmos a velocidade para encontrar a velocidade de cruzeiro ideal. A 30 n\u00f3s e 2.800 rpm, o barco se move junto com o mar a bombordo, e o consumo de combust\u00edvel cai para apenas 0,82 gal\u00e3o por milha n\u00e1utica. Reduzir para 25 n\u00f3s melhora ainda mais o valor: 0,76 gal\u00f5es por milha a 2.500 rpm. N\u00fameros como esses s\u00e3o <b>simplesmente excepcionais<\/b> para essa classe de barco. O motivo \u00e9 claro: nessas velocidades, o foil opera em sua efici\u00eancia m\u00e1xima, elevando progressivamente o casco e reduzindo a superf\u00edcie molhada. O resultado \u00e9 <b>uma navega\u00e7\u00e3o mais r\u00e1pida, mais leve e mais econ\u00f4mica<\/b>, com a sensa\u00e7\u00e3o no leme de uma embarca\u00e7\u00e3o esportiva em vez de um catamar\u00e3 de 42 p\u00e9s.     <\/p><p>Decidimos testar a capacidade de manobra. A 30 n\u00f3s, totalmente a estibordo: o Aquila 42 desenha um c\u00edrculo de cerca de 30 metros de di\u00e2metro. Damos a volta, totalmente a bombordo, e a resposta \u00e9 a mesma. A <b>dire\u00e7\u00e3o permanece precisa<\/b>, a inclina\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 m\u00ednima e o trim permanece perfeito mesmo em curvas fechadas. Isso torna o cruzeiro<b> f\u00e1cil e confort\u00e1vel, <\/b>mesmo para aqueles com pouca experi\u00eancia em catamar\u00e3s.   <\/p><p>Nossas medi\u00e7\u00f5es contam uma hist\u00f3ria clara. A 700 rpm, a velocidade \u00e9 de 4,5 n\u00f3s com um consumo de combust\u00edvel de 0,89 gal\u00f5es por hora. A 2.500 rpm, o barco atinge 25 n\u00f3s, consumindo 0,76 gal\u00f5es por milha, e a 2.800 rpm, atinge 30 n\u00f3s com um consumo de 0,82 gal\u00f5es por milha. Na pot\u00eancia m\u00e1xima, 41,3 n\u00f3s, o catamar\u00e3 permanece impecavelmente composto. Esses n\u00fameros apontam para uma \u00fanica verdade: <g id=\"gid_0\">a efici\u00eancia aqui n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas um conceito &#8211; \u00e9 uma realidade tang\u00edvel<\/g>.
