Por estas raz\u00f5es, s\u00e3o processadas diretamente na oficina mec\u00e2nica, onde alguns tornos de diferentes dimens\u00f5es trabalham a toda a velocidade. Durante a nossa visita, por exemplo, os funcion\u00e1rios estavam a processar algumas pe\u00e7as para motores at\u00e9 700HP. Eram realmente enormes, vistos fora da \u00e1gua.<\/p><p>Um aspeto que nos impressionou foi o facto de o departamento estar rodeado por centenas de gabaritos e modelos de diferentes formas e tamanhos. Esta \u00e9 uma etapa muito importante para efeitos de certifica\u00e7\u00e3o. A sala alberga uma s\u00e9rie de tanques onde os motores s\u00e3o colocados como se estivessem na \u00e1gua. A sala \u00e9 tamb\u00e9m utilizada como laborat\u00f3rio para testar o desenvolvimento de produtos inovadores. O primeiro e hist\u00f3rico motor de popa Selva de 3HP nasceu precisamente desse pedido.<\/p><p>Em 1959, o fundador da empresa, Lorenzo Selva, teve alguns problemas com alguns dos seus clientes tradicionais do sector autom\u00f3vel e decidiu mudar a sua atividade.
