H\u00e1 muitas maneiras de classificar um veleiro r\u00e1pido mas, depois de tantos anos e tantas experi\u00eancias, posso dizer-vos francamente que, deixando os barcos de cruzeiro puros fora deste discurso, esta defini\u00e7\u00e3o depende quase exclusivamente da forma como n\u00f3s pr\u00f3prios queremos equipar o nosso barco e, claro, da disponibilidade do estaleiro para fazer as adapta\u00e7\u00f5es necess\u00e1rias.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Paolo Semeraro estava certamente a pensar nisso quando concebeu o novo Neo 570c que, como compreender\u00e1 ao ler este artigo, \u00e9 um barco que pode facilmente alternar entre ser constru\u00eddo como um puro racer ou como um confort\u00e1vel cruiser-racer.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Um barco muito especial, que n\u00e3o resistimos a testar no mar.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\">Teste de mar do Neo 570c<\/h3>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Tive a oportunidade de testar este maravilhoso barco em duas ocasi\u00f5es: a primeira numa regata de clube com muito pouco vento, e a segunda num dia de teste com muito vento. Apercebo-me disso quando i\u00e7amos a grande vela grande de topo quadrado que, preta e enorme, apenas levantada, faz com que todos os tripulantes dos outros barcos virem a cabe\u00e7a instantaneamente.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">A bordo est\u00e3o apenas quatro velejadores e uma tripula\u00e7\u00e3o de esquiadores e golfistas (esta \u00e9 a f\u00f3rmula da VGS Cup) que n\u00e3o t\u00eam qualquer experi\u00eancia de navega\u00e7\u00e3o. Carbonita, este \u00e9 o nome do Neo 570c em que estamos a navegar, est\u00e1 agora em<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/?s=regatta\">  corrida<\/a><span lang=\"en-US\">  vers\u00e3o (vela grande de topo quadrado, estai de popa corrido e sem enrolador de bujarrona), pelo que teremos de decidir a melhor forma de nos organizarmos para as manobras. Um olhar r\u00e1pido para Antonio Latini, o capit\u00e3o, e optamos por uma regata de velas brancas (por assim dizer, claro), a melhor solu\u00e7\u00e3o para evitar problemas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">O vento aumenta um pouco e ronda os 4 n\u00f3s verdadeiros, o suficiente para dar o arranque, i\u00e7amos a genoa e come\u00e7amos a familiarizar-nos com o Neo 570c. Afastamo-nos, ajustamos as velocidades e a Carbonita arranca de imediato, acelerando e criando a sua apar\u00eancia. J\u00e1 estamos a navegar a mais de 5,5 n\u00f3s, muito mais r\u00e1pido do que o vento verdadeiro, apesar de a bujarrona de 105% na proa n\u00e3o ser exatamente a melhor nestas brisas.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Aos cinco minutos aproximamo-nos da linha de partida e come\u00e7amos a pensar onde come\u00e7ar, um luxo a que poucos de n\u00f3s se podem dar, porque enquanto n\u00f3s navegamos depressa, os outros barcos t\u00eam dificuldade em mover-se. \u00c9 um pouco surrealista, como se o vento estivesse ali apenas para n\u00f3s.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Com o tempo a esgotar-se, <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-43572\" title=\"Neo-570c-velejar contra o vento\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Neo-570c-sailing-upwind-262x300.jpg\" alt=\"Neo-570c-velejar contra o vento\" width=\"400\" height=\"457\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Neo-570c-sailing-upwind-262x300.jpg 262w, https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Neo-570c-sailing-upwind-480x549.jpg 480w, https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Neo-570c-sailing-upwind.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/>grande Ant\u00f3nio, encontramo-nos no barco perfeitamente alinhado e com direito de passagem. Cortamos a linha na perfei\u00e7\u00e3o, enquanto nos inclinamos e a Carbonita acelera. Ao nosso lado, um pequeno grupo de barcos, os mais ferozes, que se esfor\u00e7am imediatamente por exibir genoas ligeiras sobrepostas.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Mas n\u00e3o h\u00e1 ningu\u00e9m, n\u00e3o s\u00f3 somos mais r\u00e1pidos, como tamb\u00e9m fazemos um \u00e2ngulo infernal e, assim, \u00e0 medida que o windex no mastro aponta numa dire\u00e7\u00e3o quase n\u00e3o natural, afastamo-nos pouco a pouco do resto da frota.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">O vento aumenta um pouco, chega a 7\/8 n\u00f3s e navegamos a mais de 9 enquanto eu explico \u00e0 tripula\u00e7\u00e3o como se instalar no toe-rail. O Neo 570c, mesmo sob rajadas de vento, tem sempre reac\u00e7\u00f5es controladas, nunca nervosas, com um equil\u00edbrio geral realmente excelente.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">O nosso concorrente direto, por outro lado, i\u00e7a um gennaker preto do tamanho de um campo de futebol e desce em grande, ser\u00e1 dif\u00edcil resistir nos dois lados de alcance que o percurso de hoje proporciona, \u00e9 um longo caminho a percorrer, e nas piores condi\u00e7\u00f5es para n\u00f3s. Ao sair do porto, permanecendo em terra, encontr\u00e1mos 16\/17 n\u00f3s de vento verdadeiro, enquanto que, ao largo, o vento aumentou gradualmente para 25\/27 n\u00f3s. Condi\u00e7\u00f5es perfeitas para p\u00f4r \u00e0 prova este veleiro.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Havia muitas pessoas a bordo, vindas de toda a It\u00e1lia (e n\u00e3o s\u00f3) para testar a Neo 570c . At\u00e9 18 pessoas a bordo (sim, leu bem) que, muito simplesmente, uma vez a bordo, quase desaparecem. O Carbonita tem espa\u00e7o para toda a gente, o que \u00e9 um profissional importante, tanto em regatas como em cruzeiros.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">I\u00e7amos a vela grande diretamente com o enrolamento e, gra\u00e7as \u00e0 configura\u00e7\u00e3o de enrolamento mais silenciosa de hoje em dia, desfraldamos a bujarrona, viramo-nos e partimos como um foguete naquele milagre de vento forte e \u00e1gua plana que s\u00f3 o vento norte da Lig\u00faria pode proporcionar.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Esperava que a Carbonita fosse r\u00e1pida, mas n\u00e3o esperava que fosse equilibrada e f\u00e1cil de manejar, mesmo nestas condi\u00e7\u00f5es. E, no entanto, a praticamente todas as velocidades e mesmo a favor do vento, basta um toque no volante para obter uma mudan\u00e7a de rota correspondente, como se houvesse apenas 10 n\u00f3s de vento.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Com o casco fechado <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-43575\" title=\"Neo-Yachts\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Neo-Yachts-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Neo-Yachts\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Neo-Yachts-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Neo-Yachts-480x640.jpg 480w, https:\/\/www.yachtingnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Neo-Yachts.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/>as velocidades, mesmo com uma m\u00e3o na vela grande, situam-se entre 9 e 10 n\u00f3s, enquanto o \u00e2ngulo continua a ser muito estreito, inferior a 30\u00b0 aparentes. Ao alargar-se, a velocidade aumenta evidentemente, mantendo-se constantemente acima dos 12 n\u00f3s, com picos um pouco acima dos 13. Reduzindo o \u00e2ngulo, o Neo 570c inclina-se, mas sempre com progress\u00e3o, o barco nunca fica nervoso.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">O vento aumenta e fixa-se entre os 22 e os 25 n\u00f3s. As ondas s\u00e3o claramente percept\u00edveis, s\u00e3o secas, \u00edngremes e tentam dificultar a vida \u00e0 <b>Carbonita<\/b>, que, no entanto, n\u00e3o se importa e continua o seu caminho. O barco mant\u00e9m-se retumbantemente seco enquanto os salpicos s\u00e3o empurrados para fora.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Nestas condi\u00e7\u00f5es um pouco &#8220;m\u00e1s&#8221;, torna-se evidente e vis\u00edvel, especialmente quando o barco est\u00e1 a adornar, como a proa se torna convergente para a base da bujarrona que, com este expediente, recebe ar limpo e rende decididamente mais do que o habitual.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Outro efeito, resultante da ado\u00e7\u00e3o deste design, \u00e9 que ir \u00e0 proa para ajustar a base da bujarrona se torna muito mais seguro do que o habitual.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Todos nos revezamos ao leme, competindo para ver quem consegue passar os 13 n\u00f3s. Um milagre s\u00f3 poss\u00edvel gra\u00e7as a este fant\u00e1stico Neo 570c.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Mas este barco destina-se a corridas ou a cruzeiros? A resposta est\u00e1 claramente estampada nos rostos de todos os que est\u00e3o a desfrutar deste dia fant\u00e1stico, propriet\u00e1rios de competi\u00e7\u00e3o ou velejadores de domingo, todos unidos por uma \u00fanica emo\u00e7\u00e3o, o puro prazer de uma navega\u00e7\u00e3o (muito) r\u00e1pida e segura, ao alcance de todos. Um equil\u00edbrio que \u00e9 verdadeiramente dif\u00edcil de alcan\u00e7ar mas que, com o <b>Neo 570c, Paolo Semeraro<\/b> conseguiu atingir.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\">E se o Neo 570 fosse meu?
