RIO YACHTS COLORADO 44: AN INNOVATIVE SPORT CRUISER

Clearly inspired by the Rio 42 Air, the Colorado 44 represents a clear evolution of her predecessor, of which she replicates the typical philosophy of a hard top-equipped sport cruiser but with different layout, innovative exterior design and larger size. In short, even if in line with the shipyard’s family feeling, the result is something more than a simple restyling.

With a length of 14 metres, the Colorado 44 features sporty lines and a clever space arrangement, where the direct communication between the 8-square-metre cockpit and the living zone is undoubtedly the hallmark of this boat.

The total absence of steps or interruptions results in the great ability to “multiple” both inside and outside spaces. A large sofa, two tables and a large wet bar compose the furniture of this cockpit stretching on a single level while a sliding door allows passengers to separate the two environments whenever they want.

Another interesting characteristic is the crystal sliding hard top that, together with the wide side glazed surfaces and the large windscreen, ensures excellent visibility.

Interiors include a galley, three cabins with 6 beds in total, two bathrooms and a centrally-located living zone that the owner can totally customize according to his needs in order to obtain some additional environments, such as a laundry room and a study. Long panoramic glass windows flood interiors with natural light while offering a direct view on the sea.

Standard motorization envisages 2 Cummins QSB 6.7 275 HP shaft drive engines.

As an alternative, the boat can be powered with a sterndrive Volvo Penta D6 370 HP motor.
