The Rocket Door by Navaltecnosud successfully installed in Greece

At the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, Navaltecnosud Boat Stand presented an exclusive and highly significant project: the Rocket Door with rapid folding system, recently installed with success at the Port Olympic Marine shipyard in Lavrio, Greece. This imposing and highly innovative achievement marks another step forward in the international growth of Navaltecnosud Boat Stand. Indeed, the company is constantly evolving toward increasingly high-performance solutions tailored to the needs of the boating sector.

The Rocker Door in detail

The Rocket Door is a highly engineered structure, developed in close synergy with the client with the aim of ensuring maximum functionality, operational precision, and structural safety for accommodating boats. Its advanced design and valuable technical features make it a true point of reference in terms of technology and design for the shipbuilding industry.

With a width of 19 meters and a height of 16 meters, the Rocket Door is as large as it is resistant. This is thanks to the quality materials used in its construction, from the self-supporting galvanized structure to the best CL2 blue PVC covering, complete with two rows of portholes measuring 850 x 300 mm each. The reinforcing bars are made of steel to ensure wind resistance.

First installation in Greece

As mentioned above, the first example of the Rocket Door has been installed at the Greek shipyard Port Olympic Marine. The construction time of the product is about a month and a half, while installation takes only 15 days. Since a video is worth more than a thousand words, below you can see the speed of installation and the extraordinary functionality of this structure.

The success of the project was the result of meticulous planning, precise coordination of the operational teams, and the distinctive approach of Navaltecnosud Boat Stand: tackling every challenge with expertise, vision, and a spirit of collaboration. With delivery and installation completed at the Lavrio shipyard, the new Rocket Door is already fully operational today and represents a concrete symbol of Navaltecnosud Boat Stand’s ability to transform customer needs into reliable, innovative, and durable structures, capable of hosting vessels from the smallest boat to a superyacht.

This achievement further strengthens Navaltecnosud Boat Stand’s presence in international markets, confirming its commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions that combine technology, safety, and structural strength. This has always been at the heart of the Apulian company’s mission, specialized in cradles and trestles for shipyards, which continues to develop innovative technologies to improve work and safety in the sector.
