Sessa Marine: innovation and quality at the Venice Boat Show

Sessa, synonymous with innovation, exhibited the best of its fleet at the Venice Boat Show

Technology and avant-garde, style and quality. The four polar stars that has always guided Sessa Marine shone in their own light at the 2nd Venice Boat Show, where the Italian boatyard played a leading role, exhibiting a trio of boats that were much appreciated by the visitors in the Lagoon.

A stunning trident headed by the brand’s new entry, the C47world premiered in Venice but already known to YachtingNews that had the privilege of testing her some weeks ago (read our sea trial)- and completed by the exclusive Key Largo 40 T-Top and the C38, one of the best sellers of the Cividate al Piano-based brand.

We therefore were able to get our hands on Sessa’s new masterpiece once again, marvelling at its dynamic and sporty look, accentuated by the new hard-top with its organic, sinuous lines that perfectly integrate with the side roof shields.

Climbing on board, we appreciated the helm station which, well-organized and very elegant, perfectly integrates in the saloon, furnished in turn with a comfortable sofa and a dining table that can seat up to four guests.

This new model stands out from its predecessors thanks above all to the glass door that divides the saloon from the cockpit, a detail that names it as the “enclosed” heir to the C44 model, another Sessa Marine best seller.

Thanks to the door, which opens to the side, and the glass, which slides downwards, the saloon widens our and integrates with the external cockpit, where there is a wet bar: the result is a single large space, in close contact with the sea and the surrounding environment.

Below deck, the C47 has ample volumes, three comfortable cabins (master, VIP and guest cabin) and two heads, all characterized by sophisticated and elegant furnishings, studied in every detail, in a harmony of lines and colours.

The other model exhibited at the Venice Boat Show was the KL40, flagship of the Key Largo range, successfully presented at the Genoa Boat Show last year and symbol of Sessa innovation.

This extraordinarily revolutionary open boat features a modular cockpit, with convertible sofas and two electro-hydraulic lateral balconies for larger spaces in direct contact with the sea.

The console combines functionality, refinement and great attention to the helm seat ergonomics while, below deck, the light filtering from the lateral windows gives an unparalleled view.

This versatile cruiser, also suitable for larger families, is offered in a multitude of material and colour options. Options also include a carbon fiber T-Top.

Last but not least, the C38, offered as a right compromise between comfort and space optimization.

Below deck, the volumes are all well-set and provide extreme liveability, with two double cabins and a head, certainly large for the category.

An essential element is light which, filtering from the large lateral windows, maximizes the feeling of merging with the sea.

Another element that contributes to the brightness in the cockpit is the electric Hard-Top, which becomes crystal.

Furthermore, the two galleys – one inside, the other in the cockpit – the sundecks, the chaise longue and the large sofas make you feel at home. A special feature of all Sessa boats is the possibility of choosing from a wide range of optional extras, always starting from a basic boat complete with everything necessary for pleasant and safe sailing.
