Stoppani and Sangiorgio Marine join forces for a winning partnership

All Made in Italy is the success of the recent partnership between Stoppani, a renowned brand of the Lechler Group specializing in paint systems and products for the marine sector, and Sangiorgio Marine, a Genoese shipyard involved in the construction of racing and fast cruising boats.

The combined approach between these two companies aims to create a 100% Italian finished product, from the boat itself to the materials used. This means that the boat built by Sangiorgio Marine, is enhanced by Stoppani’s paint products, guaranteeing all-Italian excellence. The partnership, fuelled by a shared passion for the sea and boating competition, underlines the companies’ desire to grow together in an ever-evolving sector such as racing.

Stoppani, the Lechler paint brand dedicated to the boating sector, represents excellence in the Italian market since 1883. Its constantly evolving product range stands out for quality and innovation.

The recent victory at the Jacques-Vabre race, one of the most prestigious regattas in the world, highlighted the expertise and know-how of the Ligurian shipyard. The winning boat, Allagrande-Pirelli, was in fact built by Sangiorgio Marine, like the other two Class-40s in competition, including Acrobatica. The Genoese shipyard, led by Edoardo Bianchi and his team, stands out for its efficiency in building high-performance racing and fast cruising boats. With an advanced approach in the field of composite materials, the shipyard successfully tackles complex projects, transferring know-how and cutting-edge technology to the world of racing yachts.

“The partnership established with the Sangiorgio Marine shipyard comes from a great passion for the world of the sea and the world of racing. We found the same desire and ambition to grow together in this amazing world where even a very small thing can make a difference – says Gianluca Sansonna, Product Manager at Stoppani – Thanks to the know-how of Edoardo Bianchi, owner of the Genoese shipyard, and our technologies, we will be able to take their boats to the limit by building an all-Italian sailing idea, from the mould to the paint product. Our future plans? Being able to win an important competition like the Jacque-Vabre that Pirelli has just won.”

The partnership between Stoppani and Sangiorgio Marine therefore has the ambitious goal of winning prestigious competitions, such as the Jacques-Vabre won by Pirelli. The combination of experience, passion and technology opens up new horizons in the boating world, continuing the tradition of Italian excellence in the sector.

Thanks to innovation, passion for the sea and Italian talent, Stoppani and Sangiorgio Marine together will sail into a future of excellence.
