The first pictures of the new Swan 60 S

In an atmosphere of great suspense, as usual when Nautor Swan is involved, the maybe most prestigious brand of sailing boats, the new Swan 60S has been presented ad the Exhibition of Düsseldorf. We have the pleasure to show the first pictures of the new creation by Pietarsaari

The hull is the same than Swan 60 FD, designed by Frers: a small wet surface, great manoeuvrability and performance for those who love travel fast. News are in deck and exteriors: the deck has been redesigned in order to convert Swan 60S into a real Touring Boat, more appropriate for holiday and long navigations than the previous Swan 60 FD. In the cockpit, the areas reserved to helmsman, manoeuvres and guests are well-divided and covered by a large hook and an astern bimini. The extreme poop can be used as a large area to relax and it can house a tender in the accessible garage. Gangways are large and comfortable, while the astern roller furler is built-in to allow movement on the deck.

Interiors are characterized by some large spaces obtained by a partial elevation of the deckhouse ( S in the acronym means in fact Semiraised Saloon) without compromising the elegant profile of the boat
