The upper terminal will be removable (it is structurally divided into two parts), allowing the owner to use the same forestay even for racing—though this means losing the furling capability. This is particularly important because if a tuff luff is installed, the sail cannot be furled without risking serious damage to the tuff luff.
What’s more, UBI MAIOR ITALIA has also started supplying its new line of mooring cleats to the most demanding shipyards, once again standing out for innovation and design.
These new cleats, called BTS, are retractable and have been designed to meet both practical and aesthetic needs. They combine a modern, minimalist design with clean, angular lines—without compromising on strength.
