Your detailed route in a weather forecast. This is possible with Weather 4D 2.0, the new application for Ipad and Iphone6 which uses GRIB files to obtain and elaborate weather forecast on the basis of a precise way defined by user’s waypoints.
This new application allows to view on the display all weather data, winds, currents, waves, with manual or animated scrolling ; at the same time, it allows to view the route and all the possible routes traced by the user and compare them according to journey times.
Weather 4D 2.0 elaborates the weather and route data according to the type of navigation. It considers the impact weather conditions could have on motor navigation, in terms of comfort and safety, and sailing navigation, and it gives instructions to obtain the best safety performances.
As regards safety, the new App can send alerts indicating off-route positions, Ais aims, increases and variations of wind and sea.
The basic version of Weather4D 2.0 is provided with the GFS global forecast system at 49,99 Euros. It includes a free tutorial.
