1000 sails for Garibaldi will start next May 28th. It’s something more than a simple regatta: it’s an entire week dedicated to sea and sailing. Open to both mortboats and multihulls, it includes three trials: the Roma-Caprera transtyrrenian route (about 120 miles long) and two regattas in the archipelago of La Maddalena. A charming archipelago offering the best of it in this period: wind, sun, few people and a blooming Sardinia.
In particular, the Roma-Caprera route will have a double starting, from the marina of Riva di Traiano and from Fiumicino on May 28th at 10h00. The coastal regattas of La Maddalena will take place on May 31th and June 1th. The award ceremony will take place in La Maddalena on June 2th. The participant boats will be moored in Cala Gavetta in the heart of La Maddalena.
