Arianna Milesi appointed as new communication manager at Rio Yachts

The marketing department of Rio Yachts welcomes a new addition: Arianna Milesi, who will take the helm of the renowned brand’s communications. Milesi, with an impressive track record in the boating industry, succeeds Paola Barcella, who worked successfully at Rio Yachts for 16 years. The Bergamo-based shipyard expressed its gratitude to Barcella, stating: “We extend our heartfelt thanks for 16 years of fruitful collaboration and offer our warmest wishes for her future professional endeavors”.

In an interview with YachtingNews, Arianna Milesi shared her initial thoughts about joining Rio Yachts: “I am thrilled to start working for a historic, family-run Italian yachting company. Rio Yachts has maintained a strong profile throughout its more than 60 years of existence; its ownership has never changed and has always adapted to the evolving yachting landscape. It is a prestigious brand that has made history in the industry, and I am proud to join the team”.

Milesi continued: “Rio Yachts has always been a pioneer, particularly in its approach to communication and marketing within the boating sector. I didn’t have the honor of working with my predecessor, but stepping into this role is an important motivator and acknowledgment for me, one that will further my professional growth”.

At Rio Yachts, Arianna Milesi will oversee marketing, communications, press relations, and the management of trade shows and events. She will also support the sales department in communication-related aspects, both pre- and post-sale.

Born in 1991, Arianna Milesi graduated in communications and, after a brief professional experience in a communications agency, immediately entered the boating industry with Sessa Marine, where she worked for six years. She then moved to Solemar, where she played a key role in relaunching the brand in the market. After a year and a half at the Bergamo-based shipyard, she joined Rio Yachts.

I’ve always worked in marketing and communications within the yachting world, and this is where I want to stay – emphasizes Milesi – After all, boats are a great passion of mine. I hold a boating license, love making crossings, and am a regular attendee at industry shows, fairs, and events—not just for work”.
