AZIMUT YACHTS PRESENTS ITS FOUR ACES IN CANNES

Today, the real star at Cannes Yaching Festival has been Azimut Yachts, the prestigious Italian yach builder owned by Azimut Benetti Group. The brand has indeed presented four new models, all designed by architect Stefano Righini in collaboration with interior designers Achille Salvagni and Francesco Guida. Two of the four premieres – the 35 and the 27 Metri – are part of the Grande range while the others are the new Azimut S7 and Azimut 60 Fly.

Grande 35 Metri

These four boats are completely different from each; however, they all reflect the traditional Azimut’s family feeling while introducting considerable elements of innovation.

The Azimut Grande 35 Metri and the Azimut Grande 27 metri, for example, take advantage from an extensive use of carbon fiber which results in reduced weight and larger interior spaces while preserving sturdiness and rigidity.

More specifically, the Grande 35Metri is the new flagship of the collection; characterized by sleek exterior lines, she offers a pivoting balcony that, from the master cabin, elegantly becomes an open terrace over the sea. On the other hand, the Grande 27 Metri is intended to offer innovative interior fittings and solutions in the panorama of yachts of this size thanks to a full-beam master suite on the main deck and three or four cabins on the lower deck.

Absolutely sporty is, on the contrary, the profile of the Azimut S7, available in two different versions: coupé and sportfly. The extensive use of carbon guarantees reduced weight, higher performances at sea and larger interior spaces. The latter has been designed by Francesco Guida for the first time and they can be considered as really unusual, in terms of ergonomics and spaciousness, for a boat of this size. Power comes from three Volvo Penta IPS engines.

Finally, the Azimut 60 Flybridge immediately astonishes for the size of her fly bridge. Interiors, too, are boundless, all arranged and furnished according the typical megayacht philosophy and with a lot of natural light coming from the large floor-to-ceiling windows.

Azimut S7

This first international yachting appointment has provided a chance for Azimut to present a fleet of 19 boats ranging from 10 to 40 metres alongside the new strategy of the brand named La Dolce Vita 3.0.

This is a concept that enhances all the essential hallmarks of Azimut Yachts. ” To choose an Azimut Yachts boat – Giovanna Vitelli has explained –means to find into a single experience the best of technological research, a unique attention to comfort and the unmistakable Italian style that has made the boats of the shipyard famous all around the world”.

From a commercial point of view, the yacht builder has announced a strengthening of its presence in Europe through new agreements with dealers in France and England and the entrance, through new distributors, in Slovenian and Lithuanian markets.
