No official images of this yacht have been published, as desired by the owner (probably, a woman). We are talking about Lionheart, the biggest model never built by Benetti and the biggest yacht never built by a private yard in Italy. Following Lioness V (65 m), Lionheart is one of the most exclusive luxury charter boats in the world.
The photos you see in the article have been “stolen” by Livorno Oggi and Superyachtimes (Karl Borg) on the occasion of the launch in Livorno and Malta (after all, it’s impossible not to see a 90-metre-boat…).
Lionheart has a steel hull and aluminium deck and superstructures. The exterior design is the result of the collaboration with Stefano Natucci, while interiors are designed by Green&Minarelli Design.
We don’t know much about this boat, except that she has four decks and she has a maximum and a cruising speed of 18 and 16 knots, respectively.
Benetti is working at 30 boats at the moment; among them, a 107-metre-yacht which will be launched in 2019.
In the history of the yard, Lionheart beats the length record of Nabila (1980).
