Canados presents Gladiator 90, its second creation, after Oceanic Yacht 76 and the re-opening under Michel Karsenti.

Gladiator 90 wants to be the fastest open boat on the market (among those ones sharing the same size). The boat can be provided with two MAN V12 1900 HP V-Drive engines to reach a cruising speed of 27 knots and a maximum one of 33 knots, or with two MTU 16V 2000 M94L-2.600 hp Arneson Drives engines. In this case, cruise speed will be 42 knots, while the maximum one will be over 48 knots. As a further alternative, there is even the possibility of three MAN V12-1.900 hp with Top System propellers (crusing speed: 46 knots; maximum speed: 55 knots).

Interiors will have three or four cabins, in addition to crew’s rooms and dinette. The dashboard will be separated from a glass panel for a greater privacy. The version with three engines will be equipped with some superlight materials and reinforced structures. In all three versions, the hull will be vacuum-sealed and, in the most powerful version, the entire superstructure will be made of Kevlar/Aramat, with some carbon supports for higher performances.

Compared with Canados 90 Open, the cockpit is more spacious thanks to a partially suspended sunbthing platform above the fore dashboard. This way,the boat has a deck offering a double hall-living room for 8-9 people protected by a blind integrated in the superstructure. In addition to the classic sunbathing platform, there is also a fore living zone.

The boat will be launched in 2017.

Since January, the shipbuilder has been having some positive results in Europe, Northern America and Mexico. Infrastructures rearrangement and dredging of Canados’ marina are currently underway. The 75-metre-warehouse will be replaced in April 2017.
