The Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 outdoes itself, with over 700 boats including 150 world premieres

In just ten days, Cannes’ Vieux Port and Port Canto will turn into the most anticipated stage in the international boating scene: the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025. From September 9 to 14, the Croisette will host more than 700 yachts from the world’s most prestigious shipyards, ready to captivate owners, professionals, and sea enthusiasts alike. On Tuesday, September 9 at 10 a.m., the show will officially open its doors, kicking off six extraordinary days where sailing and motor boats, technology and design, innovation and tradition all come together in a single showcase of excellence. As always, the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 will unfold between the Vieux Port and Port Canto, offering a complete and refined overview of the yachting industry. The sector-based layout, developed in recent years to guide visitors through a clear and engaging journey while highlighting each type of boat and equipment, returns this year even more structured and captivating. “We can’t wait to welcome back our exhibitors and visitors. The Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 in detail

The Vieux Port, the beating heart of the event, will host around 360 brand-new motorboats – from monohulls to multihulls, rigid to semi-rigid – ranging from 12 to 45 meters in size. Completing the lineup will be leading equipment and service manufacturers, along with themed areas promising exciting discoveries: the Tender Area, the Motor Space, the striking Power Cat Village with its 24 catamarans at Quai Max Laubeuf, and the Equipment Village, which brings almost the entire Pantiero to life.

At Port Canto, on the other hand, he spotlight will be on sailing, with 125 new sailboats – both monohulls and multihulls – averaging 17 meters in length. Visitors here can also explore the water toys area, the Power Boat Marina with 180 boats up to 13 meters, and the brokerage sector, featuring an exclusive selection of 45 pre-owned yachts ranging from 25 to 55 meters. The layout is smooth and well-structured, designed to make the visit intuitive and enjoyable, allowing guests to explore the entire Port Canto seamlessly while getting a clear overview of every market segment.

For the second year in a row, the Innovation Route will highlight eco-efficient and smart advances developed by shipyards and equipment manufacturers. This route, clearly marked with dedicated signage, will help visitors easily navigate toward the most innovative solutions, showcasing the players who are shaping a more attractive and sustainable nautical industry, without compromising on performance or fun.

For the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, as many as 40 boats, services, or pieces of equipment have been selected by a jury made up of influential figures from the boating world. Four of these projects, deemed by the expert jury to be the most deserving, will be awarded during the Innovation Route Awards, which will cover four categories:

  • Enhancement of the boating experience
  • Sustainable technologies
  • Propulsion systems/alternative energies
  • Low environmental impact products/processes

The winners will be announced at the opening of the show on September 9, 2025. In addition, a Special Jury Prize will be awarded to a particularly bold project.
