CANTIERI RIZZARDI AT GENOA BOAT SHOW

The upcoming Genoa Boat Show will see the return of some important Italian and European brands who abandoned the event from 2009 on. Among them, Cantieri Rizzardi, an iconic brand which lived its “Golden Age” between 80’s and 90’s. Born in 1978, it produced over 500 boats.

The shipyard is always run by Rizzardi Family: Gianfranco and his sons Damiano and Corrado; the production base is always in Sabaudia, where the big establishment is divided in two departments: one is reserved for the construction of new models, while the other one deals with maintenance and refitting, exactly like the other seat, in the harbour of Ostia.

In Genoa, the shipyard will take a 15-metre sport coupé, called 48IN. Lines are aggressive, as the tradition of the yard imposes. Two the interior layouts available, each one with three cabins. The data published by the yard are interesting: a minimum surfing speed of 11 knots, a cruising speed of 38 and a maximum one of 44 knots. The boat is pushed by two MAN 730 HP engines.

Meanwhile, other new models are under construction: new 43 TL and 57 TL. The product line reserved for flying-bridges from 77′ to 122′ has a renewed style and design but it doesn’t forget the traditional lines of old “Posillipo” models. Design is by Carlo Galeazzi.
