Capoforte CX240 Summer Edition: a tribute to the Mediterranean summer, all in white

It only takes a quick glance to see that this is a true tribute to the Mediterranean summer—embodied in the form of a boat. We’re talking about the Capoforte CX240 Summer Edition “full white”, the new day cruiser from Capoforte produced in a limited edition. A real blend of top-level features and comfort, it stands out for its striking design, with a pure white finish accented by cognac inserts, giving the boat a bright, captivating look. It’s a head-turning masterpiece—but one that only a few will get to own: the CX240 Summer Edition will be produced in limited numbers and only until August.

Choosing the CX240 as the base for this Summer Edition—among the wide Capoforte range—was anything but random. Designed to offer a high-end luxury experience in compact spaces, the CX240 is unquestionably one of the brand’s most versatile models. It was the perfect candidate for a fresh, vibrant makeover, capturing the energy and excitement of the summer season. The Capoforte CX240 Summer Edition boasts features rarely found on a 7.50-meter long, 2.50-meter wide day cruiser.

With this special edition, Capoforte once again proves its ability to evolve and reinterpret its models. This isn’t a one-off—it’s a limited edition that will be available only for summer 2025, offering a unique opportunity to enjoy the season aboard a one-of-a-kind boat. Dressed in dazzling white, the Capoforte CX240 Summer Edition draws inspiration from the unmistakable charm of the Mediterranean—just like all the brand’s signature color tones: from Ulysses blue to Tropea white, from cuttlefish black to lighthouse grey, and blueberry blue.

The Capoforte CX240 Summer Edition evokes the whitewashed architecture overlooking the Mediterranean, where the use of white in traditional construction reflected a skilled use of local materials—from lime to the natural white stones of coastal landscapes, which reflect the sunlight and ignite the emotions of summer – says Valentina Procopio, Head of Marketing at Capoforte – It’s a color inspired by a specific architectural style, while also addressing comfort and livability. It’s practical too—white helps reduce heat by reflecting sunlight and makes spaces feel more open and airy. In this way, the Capoforte CX240 Summer Edition becomes the embodiment of the color it wears: a symbol of lightness, freedom, and relaxation. It’s a tribute to Mediterranean hues—a love letter to a lifestyle that renews the spirit through two essential elements: the sun and the sea”.

The Capoforte CX240 Summer Edition in detail

The Capoforte CX240 Summer Edition is a boat designed to offer maximum livability in a compact footprint. Below deck, it features a spacious cabin with a double bed that takes full advantage of the hull’s generous beam. An optional toilet area can be added, with the WC discreetly concealed in a dedicated compartment. To ensure ample storage, a large cabinet is located to the left of the companionway. The space is especially bright, thanks to long side windows that enhance the perception of space and visually connect the interior with the outside world.

The helm station is laid out vertically for ergonomic, precise driving, while the heart of the onboard living area is midship. Here, the stand-up helm seat can be easily reconfigured to complete the aft dinette area—a standard solution designed for those who enjoy sharing their boat with others in a social setting. Sun protection is guaranteed by a retractable canopy that extends over the entire living space. It all comes together with the hull’s outstanding seakeeping qualities, allowing for smooth, safe navigation even in choppy waters. Propulsion is provided by Yamaha, with the F200XCA2 outboard engine—naturally in the standard white version.

A stylish daycruiser for everyone

The Capoforte CX240 Summer Edition stays true to Capoforte’s core values—and in fact, through a simple yet refined color choice, it reaffirms them with strength. The Calabrian brand has always stood out for its innovative color schemes and distinctive styling. In the cockpit, the traditional ivory/cognac tones have been reimagined in pure white for this edition, echoing the all-white hull finish, which is complemented by upholstery inserts in cognac. The console is painted in sunset gold, with cognac accents—yet another example of Capoforte’s functional design approach. Through thoughtful design, bold color choices, and a timeless Mediterranean style, Capoforte continues to craft boats destined to never go out of fashion. These are clean, solidly built vessels, elevated by details that convey a strong sense of quality and craftsmanship.

In conclusion, the Capoforte CX240 Summer Edition is the ideal boat for young people looking to get into boating, for families who want to spend the day exploring hidden coves, or for those who simply want to enjoy the sea—whether it’s for a relaxing break or a spot of daytime or nighttime fishing. Thanks to its remarkable versatility, this model meets the needs of a wide and varied audience.
