Rio Yachts conquers Lombardy boat shows with the Daytona 35

It’s been a busy month for Rio Yachts, the Lombard shipyard specializing in boats ranging from 34 to 58 feet, including open walkarounds, coupé walkarounds, coupés, and maxi RIBs. The company has just wrapped up a successful three-day event at the Marina di Verbella Boat Show—an important gathering for the entire Lake Maggiore area—and is now preparing to attend another regional nautical event, the Ascona Boat Show.

At the Marina di Verbella Boat Show, held from May 16 to 18 at the Marina di Verbella in Sesto Calende (Varese), the Bergamo-based shipyard showcased the Daytona 35. This 10-meter motorboat, entirely made in Italy, combines elegance and sportiness, and is designed for enjoying social moments onboard in complete relaxation. The same model will be on display at the Ascona Boat Show, which will take place from Thursday, May 29 to Sunday, June 1. On this occasion, Rio Yachts will be present alongside its Swiss dealer, Epico Yachts. Visitors will be able to admire the craftsmanship with which the shipyard’s artisans build this and all other models in the brand’s lineup—boats designed to meet the expectations of owners who value quality and attention to detail.

In particular, the Daytona 35 sets a new standard in the world of boating. It features a sophisticated layout and technical solutions tailored for those who seek maximum comfort onboard. As an evolution of its predecessor, the Daytona 34, this Rio Yachts model stands out with three main versions, all designed to offer versatility and uncompromising performance.

The Daytona 35 presents itself as a true bow rider boat, featuring a second forward cockpit with an up/down table that can be converted into a spacious sunbathing area—an ideal setup for relaxing during navigation or enjoying a sunset cocktail in total comfort. To enhance protection and practicality, the boat is equipped by Rio Yachts with a fiberglass T-Top, allowing the installation of an electric aft sunshade that provides shade and shelter on the sunniest days. Adding to the boat’s innovative design are two lateral extensions at the stern, which lengthen the hull and make it easier to board when docked side-on, improving overall space usability.

Beyond its strong focus on functionality, the Daytona 35 by Rio Yachts offers a generous aft cockpit with a retractable table and a fully integrated outdoor galley. The elegant and refined interiors include four berths and a bathroom with a shower, providing everything needed to enjoy quality time onboard. Ultimately, this is a boat designed for those seeking the perfect blend of style, practicality, and performance—making it the ideal choice for every kind of experience at sea, from leisurely cruising to sporty navigation, up to complete relaxation.
