GENOA BOAT SHOW 2017: EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

Today, March 21st, all the exhibitors that are interested can register for the 57th Genoa International Boat Show. Until the next April 28th, all the brands that want to exhibit their best products in the Italian longest-running boat show can have the change of earning the well-known “front-row” seat.

This year, the event will last six days, from next 21st to 26th September.

The 57th Genoa International Boat Show follows the great success of the 2016 edition, which registered 127,190 visitors, over 800 exhibitors, over 1,000 boats exhibited both aground and at sea and over 2,400 sea trials. But it’s not only the success of the event which draws the attention to the Genoa Boat Show. According to the last  “La Nautica in Cifre“, the annual publication issued by UCINA Confindustria Nautica last October, the boat industry market has finally started to show signs of improvement. After the long dramatic crisis of the sector started in late 2008, 2015 showed the first reversal signals. The overall turnover registered a 17.1% increase and the Italian market in particular grew by a fifth than the previous year. This improvement is also confirmed by the value of the 2016 nautical year which marked a 13% increase. Of course, forecasts for the current year are equally favourable.

In addition to the data coming from Ucina, the society which is both part of Confindustria Nautica and organizer of the Genoa International Boat Show, Assilea (Associazione Italiana Leasing), too, confirms the positive trend of the 2016 nautical year. Compared to 2015, leasing contracts have increased by a fourth and, as Ucina claims, most of them were concluded immediately after the Genoa Boat Show.

Ucina President Carla De Maria has claimed: ” With its 57-year-history, the Genoa Boat Show promises a successful start. The data concerning the last edition have been already confirmed and the prevision is that all figures will increase, as confirmed by the statements, collected some months ago, from both Italian and foreign exhibitors who are going to increase their exhibition spaces and ranges in water. The Boat Show proves itself to be an effective instrument for companies”.
