NEW JEANNEAU 51,58 AND SUN FAST 3200 R2

Jeanneau is ready to present three new boats at the next autumn boat shows. Two of them concern Jeanneau Yachts, the top range everyone keep a watchful eye over, while the third one is small and more aggressive.

After the successful Jeanneau 64 and 54, the yard now launches Jeanneau 51, a smaller boat sharing the same features of big yachts: luxury, comfort and easy manoeuvrability.

The boat astonishes for her spaces and liveability, as you can see in the rendering above and in the cockpit arrangement: it’s wide and provided with very comfortable solutions, such as the two chaises longues between the cockpit and the deck house.

Jeanneau 58, which will replace Jeanneau 57, has some renewed interiors. Her designer, Andrew Winch, has revisited materials and finishes in order to standardise the entire Jeanneau Yachts’ range by 2017. So, new fittings and woods – clear oak will be replaced by a natural one, while dark oak will be used in plankings.

The third coming news is a racing boat. When she was launched in 2008, Sun Fast 3200 R2 was already a funny and not-too-expensive boat conceived as a miniature Open 60, suitable for offshore races with single or reduced crew. Now, she has an open renewed cockpit, more efficient and comfortable even during inshore races. She can have a faster and more powerful carbon mast up to 40 cm and an optimised IRC keel.

With these new boats we’ll describe better in the next few days, Jeanneau’s production becomes larger; today, there are: 4 sailing boat lines ((Jeanneau Yacht, Sun Fast, Sun Odyssey, Sun Odyssey DS), 14 models and 40 versions.

The yard is also restyling all its models with the collaboration of Philippe Briand and Andrew Winch.
