Did you think you were on holiday? But no. You’ve just arrived at the marina, it’s very hot and your baggage is piled on the traveler. Your boat is moored but your holiday hasn’t started yet. No, but a tourism expert with a long experience in hospitality and holiday management,  Emanuele Nasti, proposes a great solution. For him, used to plan travels all around the world and to receive guests in any kind of hotels and destinations, loosing a vacation day this way was unthinkable.

“The idea came from my personal experience – Emanuele Nasti said – Some years ago, I went on a boat holiday for the first time and I wasted an entire day in doing all the necessary paperwork and arranging my pantry. During the cruise, a little as a joke, at sunset and while sipping a beer, we started to think about a way to solve the problem, especially in terms of pantry arrangement.

This is how Gastronautica was born. We are active anywhere, even though some marinas are our main reference points”.

The website has a very clear layout and the homepage offers all the useful links to arrange a pantry for 4,6,8 or 10 people. ” We suggest a list of products, just as a reminder, especially for beginners. The list is dynamic and it can be changed. It must be filled in at least 24 hours before getting the harbour so that we have time to contact our local suppliers”.

Pantry is the principal service offered by La Gastronautica but Emanuele Nasti has a broader view about what can make a holiday a special experience ” we like consider ourselves as a concierge service for yachtsmen. So, we offer further services, such as: boat and skipper research, excursions, food and wine itineraries, motor-scooter rental, show and travel tickets. In a word, everything which can be functional to a cruise”.
