The concept of luxury on board is changing. Space, refined materials, and performance remain essential, but along with these elements, new priorities are emerging: wellness, quality of life, peace of mind, and longevity. It is on this evolution that Majesty, a brand of Gulf Craft, has built the new generation of its superyacht range, presenting its philosophy during the Monaco Yacht Show held from September 22 to 25. During a meeting attended by Mohammed Hussein Alshaali, Chairman of Gulf Craft, Erwin Bamps, CEO of Gulf Craft, and Italian designer Cristiano Gatto, the shipyard unveiled the new generation of its superyachts, a family that will span from the Majesty 125 up to the future 54-meter flagship Majesty 180.
The stated objective is ambitious: to significantly strengthen Majesty’s positioning in the superyacht segment over the coming years, while simultaneously investing in product, expertise, and production capacity. “We have a clear ambition for where we want to take Majesty in the next three to five years, and we are ready to invest accordingly,” said Mohammed Hussein Alshaali. “Confidence in the future stems from having a long-term vision and the commitment to execute it. We are investing in the brand, our people, and the capabilities that will allow us to build the next generation of Majesty superyachts.”
From the Majesty 125 to the Majesty 180, a Unified Design Language
The new strategy is not about a single model. Majesty is building a true family of superyachts united by a recognizable identity, while maintaining specific characteristics for each unit. The lineup includes the new Majesty 125, currently under development, the Majesty 145 launched in 2026, the upcoming Majesty 160, and above all, the future Majesty 180, previewed in Monaco and destined to become the brand’s new flagship.
“The conscious design search for emotional balance and wellness at sea is reflected in the new generation of our Majesty superyacht collection,” explained Erwin Bamps. “From the new Majesty 125, currently under development, through the recent Majesty 145 and Majesty 160, to the future Majesty 180, which we are previewing here today for the first time, we are introducing a cohesive stylistic language and a common theme across the collection, while ensuring that each yacht retains its own distinct character.” The common thread is therefore a design approach that looks not only at aesthetic impact, but also at the feelings and quality of time spent on board.
Majesty 145, Six Staterooms and Two Infinity Pools
The Majesty 145, launched in 2026, is the model that concretely brought this new philosophy to the water. With a length of 45 meters, the yacht offers six staterooms and can accommodate up to 12 guests. The design focuses particularly on brightness and the connection with the surrounding environment through large glass surfaces and seamless access to the sea.
Among the most defining features are two infinity pools, a gym, and an infrared sauna—solutions that demonstrate how much the concept of wellness has become an integral part of the design rather than a mere added feature.
The interior and exterior design are penned by Cristiano Gatto Design, in collaboration with Majesty’s in-house team. It is precisely from the 145 that the stylistic language takes shape, destined to be progressively applied to the rest of the new collection.
Majesty 160, Nearly 50 Meters and Fast Displacement Hull
A further jump in size comes with the Majesty 160, built on a 49.5-meter platform. In this case, Majesty worked with Van Oossanen Naval Architects to develop a fast displacement hull, while the layout features a full-beam master suite and seven staterooms in total.
Special attention was once again dedicated to the areas in direct contact with the sea. The project includes an infinity pool, a hybrid beach club, and fold-down balconies that expand the outdoor areas and strengthen the continuity between entertainment spaces and the water’s surface. The goal is not simply to increase the available square footage, but to ensure that the superyacht’s dimensions translate into more open, flexible spaces directly connected to the marine environment.
Majesty 180, the New 54-Meter Flagship
The pinnacle of the new generation will be the Majesty 180, the shipyard’s future flagship. With an overall length of 54 meters, the model is set to become the largest semi-production composite yacht in the world.
The Majesty 180 also carries particular importance from an industrial standpoint. Indeed, its dimensions will serve to showcase the capabilities achieved by Majesty in composite construction, while simultaneously bringing the design language introduced by the new generation onto its largest model. This marks a further step in Gulf Craft’s strategy, which aims to leverage its vertically integrated manufacturing model to maintain direct control over design, engineering, and construction.
Designing Wellness, Not Just Adding It
The concept of wellness developed for the range is not confined to spas, gyms, or other dedicated spaces. The idea is broader and encompasses the entire onboard experience. Natural light, views of the exterior, layout flow, privacy, movement, and the alternation between social gathering and personal space become genuine design tools. “Today, luxury comes from within, from how a yacht makes us live and feel,” emphasized Cristiano Gatto. “The exterior becomes an extension of this inner experience, connecting us with nature and the sea. When wellness becomes part of daily life, it naturally becomes part of longevity as well.” It is an approach that interprets the superyacht as an environment in which to spend increasingly longer periods, rather than simply a space intended for vacations or entertainment.
The difference is substantial. Instead of concentrating wellness into a few specific zones, Majesty aims to incorporate it into the overall architecture of the yacht. Sleep quality, freedom of movement on board, guest privacy, conviviality, and connection with the sea are considered from the earliest stages of design. This results in versatile spaces, large glass surfaces, greater continuity between indoors and outdoors, and carefully planned layouts to make daily life feel more natural.
However, the term “longevity” also takes on a second meaning. It does not refer exclusively to people, but also to the yacht itself. Construction must indeed ensure durability, ease of operation, and low maintenance, while preserving desirability and value over the years.
Gulf Craft’s Integrated Manufacturing
Supporting this strategy is Gulf Craft’s industrial model. Majesty designs, engineers, and builds its yachts in the United Arab Emirates, relying on a multinational in-house team and collaborating with international naval architects and designers. Vertically integrated manufacturing allows the group to maintain direct control over the different stages of the process, from initial design to construction and final delivery.
At the same time, the semi-custom approach allows each unit to be tailored to the owner’s requirements without sacrificing a proven design and production platform. It is precisely this balance between standardization and customization that Majesty intends to utilize to develop its new generation of superyachts.
Conclusions
With the new family spanning from the Majesty 125 to the Majesty 180, Gulf Craft aims to shift the focus from mere size to a more articulate concept of luxury. The superyacht becomes an environment engineered for living better and longer at sea, where light, silence, privacy, movement, and contact with the water take on equal importance to traditional onboard amenities.
The Majesty 145 has already brought this philosophy to the water, while the 160 expands its possibilities on a platform of nearly 50 meters. But it will be above all the 54-meter Majesty 180 that will represent the manifesto of this new strategy: a flagship aiming to combine large dimensions, composite construction, customization, and a shared stylistic identity across the entire range.
