NEW MYLIUS 76 DS AT GENOA BOAT SHOW

Launched last July and after the necessary sea trials, new Mylius 76, also known as “Grillo Parlante” , was presented at Cannes Yaching Festival and now she’s ready for Genoa Boat Show, together with her twin brother Egi4. The first is a deck salon version, while Egi4 is a flush deck one..

So, Mylius has entered deck salon boats’ world for the first time, by maintaining the sports spirit of all the models built in the yard of Podenzano (Piacenza). The deckhouse is larger but without overloading the slim boat silhouette. It seems to “lean on” gently on the bridge, which develops in its turn on only one level.

Her owner loves sailing fast and with comfort. Grillo Parlante is a yacht with a length of almost 24 metres ( so, she is still a boat, not a ship). Her cockpit is extra large, some long benches lean on the glass deckhouse, tables are storable, riggings slide under the carter and appear again near the rudder double blades. Lateral gangways are large and clear and they lead to the bow area, a real kingdom of teak.

The mast is very high and the sailing area is very large, with a 160 square-metre mainsail, a 120 square-metre jib and a 500 square-metre-gennaker.

The typical Mylius’ family feeling is evident in interiors, too: white lacquered panels, carbon elements, a deckhouse literally flooded with light. Four steps lead to the sleeping quarters: two double guest cabins and a fore owner’s one, while the crew zone and the extra-modern steel kitchen are aft.

Mylius are semi-custom yachts totally made of carbon (hull, deck, rig). The hull is designed by Rega in Poland, while the yard of Podenzano deals with assembly, interiors and deck equipment.
