INFLATABLE BOATS AND RIBS

Nuova Jolly: the Maxi Ribs we’ll see in autumn

Here are the models Nuova Jolly Marine will exhibit in autumn. High expectations for the Prince 50

Prince 50

All eyes are on the Prince 50 which, launched in early June, will not be presented at Cannes Yachting Festival, recently cancelled due to Covid restrictions, but that we will unveil in absolute preview.

Over 15 meters long, the Luca Macchi-designed Nuova Jolly Marine Prince 50 is the largest Maxi Rib ever built by the Italian shipyard and is intended to become the new flagship of the range.

The Prince 50 is a beautiful and extraordinarily spacious boat, equipped with two dinettes – one in the bow, the other in the stern – and an additional sundeck (in addition to the stern one) obtained from a folding electric table. The deck layout is divided into two distinct areas joined by two very large side walkways in fine solid teak.

The helm station is wide (the dashboard can accommodate two side-by-side displays of at least 12 inches) and faces three comfortable and ergonomic seats. The entire driving console is protected by a rigid fiberglass hard-top.

Below deck, the spaces are really surprising. In the hallway (with double entrance aft and forward for greater air circulation inside) there are, on one side, a galley with sink, fridge and microwave oven and a bathroom with marine toilet, sink and shower on the other one.

The sleeping area consists of two cabins: the VIP cabin is twin-bedded and positioned in the stern while the master cabin, with double bed and panoramic windows, is in the bow.

Propulsion is guaranteed by four Yamaha V8 XTO Offshore 425HP outboards which, combined with a Helm Master joystick steering system, deliver a highly comfortable driving experience as well as a top speed of 54 knots even with the full of water and petrol (click here to read about the Prince 50 sea trial on our Virtual Boat Show).

Nuova Jolly, autumn novelties: the other Maxi Ribs on display

In addition to the Prince 50, Nuova Jolly Marine will present another successful open yacht. We’re talking about the Prince 38 CC (click here to read about the sea trial on our Virtual Boat Show), a Maxi Rib with a sporty and charming character which, characterized by sleek lines, an appealing bow profile and a streamlined tube design, can reach a top speed of 61 knots in less than 20 seconds thanks to two Mercury Racing 450R engines.

Prince 38 CC

The shipyard will also propose two popular cabin cruisers: the 38 Sport Cabin (click here to read about the sea trial on our Virtual Boat Show), built with multiaxial fabrics to withstand the harshest stresses, and the 33 Sport Cabin, an authentic walk-around with elegant teak decking.

At the Genoa International Boat Show (from October 1-6, floating jetty like last year), instead, Nuova Jolly Marine will exhibit the following Maxi Ribs:  the Prince 38 CC, the 25, the 30, the 33 CC (picture below left), the NJ 700 XL (photo below right) and the NJ 700 XL Sea-fish.

Featuring a length of 3.14 meters, the NJ 700 XL gives the impression of being an 8-meter Rib.

Noteworthy is the bow, characterized by a deep V-profile with a 55-degree deadrise. Tne result is an excellent seaworthiness in all conditions. The maximum engine expected is 250 horsepower, capable of reaching a top speed at 45 knots.
