At the Miami International Boat Show 2026, the debut is not just that of a new yacht, but a true statement of intent. Pardo Yachts has chosen the American stage to present the world premiere of the outboard version of one of the most appreciated 14-meter walkarounds in its segment: the Pardo 43R, a project that combines the shipyard’s signature Italian style with outboard propulsion designed to maximize performance.
Pardo 43R: an important legacy, a new hull
Since its debut in 2017, the Pardo 43 has redefined the category thanks to its iconic inverted bow, sleek and clean lines, and fully walkaround layout that has won over more than 330 owners worldwide.
Far from being a simple update, the 43R now builds on this legacy with a completely new project, developed around a dedicated hull specifically optimized for outboard propulsion. Engine options include up to three Mercury V12 600 hp units, while the standard configuration features three Mercury V10 400 hp engines, allowing the 43R to exceed 50 knots. A setup that enhances its dynamic and sporty character, designed for owners seeking top-level performance and an engaging driving experience, capable of turning every outing at sea into an exciting and immersive navigation experience.
A walkaround with a sporty soul
From an aesthetic standpoint, the new Pardo 43R retains the brand’s signature sleek and streamlined silhouette. The single-level deck ensures smooth and safe movement all around the perimeter. At the bow, the large sunpad is complemented by a forward-facing bench, creating a true sea-view lounge area; at the stern, the cockpit mirrors the layout of the new inboard 43, with opposing sofas and an extendable table that converts into a second sunpad.
The real revolution, however, lies at the transom. While maintaining the tender garage, the swim platform has been completely redesigned, integrating a dedicated well to accommodate the outboard engines. The carbon T-top blends seamlessly with the windshield in a harmonious and lightweight structure, while an optional electric bimini extends shade toward the stern, making the cockpit comfortable even on the hottest days.
Below deck, the Pardo 43R offers bright, balanced, and functional interiors. Large side windows flood the spaces with natural light, enhancing the carefully selected woods and fabrics. The sleeping area includes a V-shaped owner’s cabin that can be converted into a dinette, and a central guest area with two berths, both served by a bathroom located on the starboard side.
Two ways to experience the new Pardo 43
With the arrival of the 43R, the range now offers two interpretations of the same concept. The inboard version with IPS system focuses on cruising efficiency, range, and onboard comfort, with top speeds of around 37 knots. The Pardo 43R, on the other hand, sacrifices some range to deliver pure performance, blistering acceleration, and a more exhilarating driving experience, along with the simplified handling and maintenance typical of outboard engines. All without giving up the social spaces and outdoor areas that have made the Pardo 43 a benchmark in the walkaround segment.
The difference is not only technical, but cultural. On one side, coastal cruising and longer passages. On the other, high-speed day trips, bays reached in just minutes, thrilling sensations, and simplified maintenance.
