In Düsseldorf, a trio to win everyone over: Selva Marine’s three new models

At Boot Düsseldorf 2026, Selva’s DNA—expressed through its seaworthy, high-performance hulls—has been interpreted in three exciting new models, ranging from just over 6 meters with the Selva 665 Open to the 10-meter Protagon 33, passing through the nearly 8-meter Aurion 780. Two fiberglass hulls and one RIB, outstanding performance and plenty of surprises waiting to be discovered: let’s take a closer look at the new proposals from the Valtellina-based company.

Selva 665 Open, from 40 to 150 HP

Let’s start with the smallest hull, which nonetheless makes the most of every last millimeter of available space, ensuring comfort, functionality, and versatility. Life on board the Selva 665 is enhanced right from the bow, which is noticeably wide and features a large sunpad that can be converted into an outdoor dinette when needed—a detail that is far from a given on a boat of this size.

Moving aft, we find the helm station, with a console spacious enough to accommodate all the instrumentation demanded by today’s boaters. Behind it are two generous sofas: the first for the driver and one passenger, the second—also forward-facing—capable of seating up to four guests. The aft bench, moreover, can be reclined to create a second large sunpad, ensuring no one is left disappointed, even during group outings.

Highlighting the versatility of Selva Marine’s new open model, right near the aft seating area, there is a feature that will delight more demanding anglers: by lifting the side end of the sofa—thus freeing access to the stern—you reveal a livewell.

Looking below the waterline of the Selva 665 Open, worth noting are the stepped hull and the two rows of spray rails, details designed to enhance performance and reduce fuel consumption. It is also impossible not to notice the vertical topsides, a choice that further increases onboard space without exceeding the 2.50-meter beam limit, keeping the boat trailerable.

The layout and hull design speak of an open boat capable of satisfying a family or a group of friends, all in the name of fun and relaxation. And to allow everyone to enjoy this beauty, Selva Marine offers engine options starting from 40 horsepower—meaning no boating license required. For licensed boaters seeking more speed, the maximum power is set at 150 horsepower.

Selva Marine 780 Aurion: a RIB designed to be fully enjoyed

Selva Marine’s new range of inflatable boats made a strong impression at Boot Düsseldorf, well represented by the eye-catching Aurion 780. Here too, the shipyard guarantees space, versatility, and functionality, without clipping the wings of those who seek a thrill while underway: the RIB can in fact be powered with engines ranging from 150 up to an impressive 300 horsepower.

The bow is dominated by a full-beam sunpad, offering plenty of comfort alongside the forward-facing bench positioned in front of the helm console. By lifting the seat, you gain access to a generous compartment that can either remain free for storage or be converted into a changing room with a toilet.

The helm station comfortably seats two, leading aft to the large sofa that “embraces” the crew. This is the true social hub on board, especially thanks to the option of installing a centrally positioned table. The table can also be lowered to seat level, creating an additional sunpad to complement the one at the bow.

Space on board the Aurion 780 is certainly not lacking, making this RIB an excellent candidate for enjoyable family outings, also thanks to the adaptable layout. And with the possibility of installing up to 300 horsepower at the stern, performance can be seriously entertaining.

Protagon 33: generous space, bold character

In Germany, the flagship of the Protagon range was unveiled. Among the new models showcased at Selva’s stand at the Düsseldorf Boat Show was the Protagon 33, luxuriously sporty and capable of mounting up to 700 horsepower.

When talking about a 10-meter hull—9.95 meters homologation length, 10.95 meters overall length—the space available to the owner is anything but limited, and every square centimeter has been used intelligently. Without a doubt, the Protagon 33’s sense of abundance is best expressed at the stern, thanks to the two fold-down wings which, together with the folding backrests of the large U-shaped sofa, create a true beach area for guests.

At the heart of this large open—already a favorite among many visitors at the show—is the impressive dinette featuring a spacious U-shaped sofa and an additional three-seat bench. Those wishing to make the most of this convivial space need only set up sunshades to create a panoramic restaurant in the most beautiful Mediterranean anchorages.

The large hard-top houses the helm station with three ergonomic seats; it also provides access to the below-deck changing area, complete with a small berth—particularly useful for outings with children—as well as a toilet and washbasin.

Having already seen the other two hulls displayed in Düsseldorf by Selva, it comes as no surprise to find, on this extremely spacious open, a second U-shaped sofa along the bow line, with a table at its center that can be lowered when needed to create a large sunpad. There is also the option of setting up an additional outdoor dinette here, thanks to the forward-facing two-seat bench and the possibility of shading the area.

Selva Marine 2026: boats designed around the boater, at attractive prices

Small and large open boats, with relaxed or decidedly exuberant engine options, all united by intelligent layouts and clever solutions to maximize onboard space. But that’s not all: another common denominator of Selva’s three new models at the start of the year is their selling price—decidedly attractive.
