QNN: Quick Spa launches the Quick Nautical Network

The Quick Nautical Network has come. The QNN arrives at the Genoa Boat Show

For Quick Spa, the first stage of the nautical calendar was the occasion to announce an important novelty. At the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival, in fact, the Italian company introduced the QNN – Quick Nautical Network – a pioneering project which allows the integration of Quick systems with navigation systems.

Thanks to the QNN, as long as the user has a new generation chart plotter compatible with HTML5, he can control all the Quick Spa devices installed on his boat through a user-friendly interface collecting all functions.

QNN, the Quick Nautical Network is user-friendly and efficient

The QNN is a revolutionary system. It is a gateway able to receive all of the different protocols used by Quick devices, including thrusters, battery chargers, windlasses and the MC² Quick Gyros stabilizers.

More specifically, two features make the QNN a really innovative product. The first is the Plug&Play connection system that provides the user a tool characterized by extreme simplicity of use and installation according to a philosophy that has always belonged to the company. The second great strength of this new device is the ability to control and interact with all the Quick Spa brand products installed on the boat, directly from the chart plotter.

A display for the QNN: Quick Spa partnerships

Quick Spa has entered into three important partnerships with the main international display and chart plotter manufacturers.

Raymarine, Simrad and Garmin, in fact, will host the Quick Nautical Network on board their chart plotters, actively contributing to the growth and spread of an innovative product such as the QNN.

The integration is, indeed, the main goal of QNN, designed to give the owner the possibility to control all the main boat devices from the chart plotter with extreme ease. The Quick Nautical Network is a point of arrival and a starting point at the same time towards a more and more intuitive and avant-garde yacht, in favor of the owners.

The integration of the various on-board systems represents today one of the main goal of our market” – states Raymarine Country Manager Carlo Baj,We are therefore proud to have developed together with Quick the new App to manage all their devices directly from our multi-function AXIOM displays: I am sure that our common customers will appreciate it very much.”

Paolo Paolini with Roberto Sesenna

Quick Spa is an international company that has managed to make innovation and experimentation two essential aspects of its own production ;  thanks to the use of new materials and cutting-edge technologies, Quick Spa has developed new products that are increasingly efficient and characterized by quick and easy use.

In this regard, we also interviewed the General Manager of Navico Italy and a satisfied partner of the Italian company, Roberto Sesenna at the Simrad booth during the 2019 Genoa Boat Show.

Sesenna has celebrated the collaboration between Simrad and Quick Spa underlining the desire to continue the collaboration also in the future: “That with Quick is a partnership that makes us deeply proud. It is a project we have been working on for a long time in order to give our users the maximum integration and as well as a user-friendly and fast access to all the functionalities and to the connected Quick devices. We will continue to work together to further improve this revolutionary integration. “

Paolo Paolini with Andrea D’amato

At the Genoa Boat Show we also interviewed Andrea D’Amato, Emea Business Development Manager at Garmin Marine, who told us the collaboration benefits both companies and helps them grow, in terms of product diffusion and quality: “The partnership with Quick is part of the OneHelm program, which aims at integration and collaboration with important partners.

As a result of these collaborations, Garmin chart plotters become a control unit for all the devices installed on board. In order to have more integrated dashboards, we are developing agreements with important third-party partners, including, of course, Quick.”
