Sasga Yachts expands its universe beyond boating and makes its debut in the luxury hospitality sector. The Spanish shipyard, renowned for its Menorquín yachts, has overseen the redesign of the rooftop at Villa Le Blanc Gran Meliá, an exclusive five-star hotel overlooking the sea and the only property in Menorca belonging to The Leading Hotels of the World collection. Thus, the Sasga Rooftop is born: a space designed to bring the brand’s atmosphere, elegance, and identity ashore, offering guests an immersive experience inspired by the Mediterranean.
Sasga Yachts’ Signature Design Takes Over the Rooftop
To kick off the new season, the hotel’s rooftop, which overlooks Santo Tomás beach, has been completely reimagined by the Menorcan shipyard. Sasga Yachts designed and customized every detail of the area: from the pool bar and lounge chairs to the umbrellas, all crafted following the same criteria for material selection, build quality, and craftsmanship that characterize the production of Menorquín yachts. The result is an elegant and recognizable space, capable of immediately evoking the brand’s aesthetics and values while seamlessly integrating with the surrounding environment.
The collaboration goes beyond spatial design. Guests of Villa Le Blanc Gran Meliá will actually be able to enjoy a comprehensive experience, stepping into the world of Sasga Yachts through private tours of the Mahón shipyard and boat trips in the waters of Menorca aboard the brand’s vessels. To top off the project, an exclusive cocktail dedicated to the Sasga Rooftop was also created, designed to translate the shipyard’s style and philosophy into a sensory experience.
A Collaboration Rooted in Local Identity
The initiative is part of Meliá Hotels International’s “Travel for Good” program, which aims to promote the local area through partnerships with local entities capable of offering authentic, high-level experiences. For Sasga Yachts, this is its first foray into the world of luxury hospitality, a project that represents a natural evolution of its identity.
“This partnership with Villa Le Blanc is not just a simple aesthetic collaboration,” the shipyard emphasizes. “It proves that the Sasga Yachts DNA—made of craftsmanship, timeless design, and a deep connection to the Mediterranean—is capable of expressing itself with the same authenticity on dry land.“
