First of all there’s appearance: Silver Fast, built by the Australian Silver Yachts, cannot go unnoticed. Not only for its 77 metres of length but also for its space age design, which is totally different from the most popular canons in the Big Boats’ world.
Then, performances: Silver fast is an aluminium megayacht with a traditional propulsion and an excellent autonomy. So, it can reach a maximum speed of 27 knots and it can reach a navigation range of 4,500 miles at 18 knots and of 6,200 miles at 14 knots.
This means that, for example, it can traverse the Atlantic Ocean at an average of 22 knots, without stressing systems and structures anyway.
Silvest Fast is provided with two MTU 3,650 HP engines and three generators ( two 155 kw generators and one 230 Kw generator). The builder assures a very low level of vibrations and absolute silence.
The boat can host 18 passengers, with a crew of 16 people. Luxury is anywhere: first of all, the huge shipowner’s cabin on the upper deck with a wonderful 360-degree-view. There are also a wellness centre, a gym, a heliport and three tenders, the biggest of which has been customized for Silver Fast.
An “exaggerated” yacht, Silver Fast is the flagship of the Australian company. The price? 86 million dollars, that is 77 million Euros.
