Absolute Yachts Navetta 48: the smallest member of the family has already grown!

Announced at the last Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the new Absolute Yachts Navetta 48 was officially presented at the last Boot Dusseldorf. Even if the launch is scheduled to take place next June, the German event gave Cesare Mastroianni, Sales Manager of the Podenzano-based boatyard, the opportunity to outline the main features of the smallest member of the Navetta family.

Size is one of the main strengths of this boat. Within just 48 feet, the latest Absolute’s creation seems to replicate the contents of her elder sister, the Navetta 52.

However, she is not just a smaller copy of something already known.

The fly bridge, for example, is one of key features of this boat. Like the Navetta 52 and the Navetta 58, the center console was moved abaft on the upper deck in order to provide the forward sun pad with additional room where to accommodate 3-4 people.

Behind the pilot house, guests can enjoy a large area furnished with some sofas, a dinner table and a wet bar with plate, sink and fridge . The wide deck covers the whole cockpit and can be, in turn, sheltered by an optional folding bimini, a rollbar or a hard top. The standard version includes no covering.

The deck replicates the same layout than the elder sister: a spacious sun pad for 4 adults in the bow and a cockpit equipped with a sofa and a dinner table abaft. Well-protected by a sturdy handrail and the special fly roofing, side-decks enable passengers to move free on board.

As for the cockpit, this is one of the environments which best expresses the Absolute’s capacity to make the most of the generous volumes of this trawler. Despite the limited size of the boat, interiors and exteriors enjoy a mutual communication with each other thanks to a large sliding door positioned in the living zone. The result is a large open space, where the galley, located on the left like on the Navetta 52, provides passengers with a convenient passage to the outside.

The living zone is completed by a U-shaped sofa on the left, an additional sofa and the pilot station on the starboard side. Here, a side door gives instant access to the side-decks, making mooring manoeuvres significantly easier.

Below deck, every inch of space is cleverly used and the use of sliding doors – 5 in total – has allowed designers to increase the amount of space available and improve comfort.

The internal layout consists of three double cabins, two bathrooms and a crew cabin abaft. The owner can benefit from a spacious apartment in the bow, furnished with a walk-in closet, wide windows offering an incomparable view on the sea and en-suite bathroom.

Both the VIP and the guest cabin are positioned amidships and benefit from a bathroom whose size is actually worthy of a bigger yacht.

A sophisticated combination of clear-coloured, glossy, matt wood and clear tones contributes to give an unparalleled sensation of space and comfort.

The new Absolute Yachts Navetta 48 is powered by twin Volvo Penta D6 Ips 600 engines.
