A new chapter opens for Absolute Yachts, an expression of Made in Italy excellence in luxury yachting: the Piacenza-based shipyard has officially announced the appointment of Alessandro Tirelli as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The decision, effective since the beginning of this year, is part of the brand’s consolidated process of growth and evolution, aimed at strengthening its positioning in international markets.

A Strategic Evolution and Solid Foundations

The entry of Alessandro Tirelli at the helm of the company comes at a time of great dynamism. This development process was further strengthened in 2024 by the entry into the share capital by Wise Equity, an asset management company that, through the Wisequity VI fund, acquired a majority stake. The shared objective is to enhance the distinctive identity and industrial foundations of the shipyard, projecting Absolute Yachts toward increasingly ambitious global challenges.

In this phase of transition and growth, continuity plays a crucial role. The company’s board continues to rely on the presence of historical and decisive figures such as Sergio Maggi (Chief Technical Officer), Marcello Bè (Chief Operating Officer), and Giuseppe Bertocci (Chief of Manufacturing). The board members emphasized how Tirelli‘s experience and vision integrate perfectly with the expertise that has always distinguished the company.

Alessandro Tirelli: innovating while maintaining identity

The first statements by the new CEO clarify the course for the coming years: “For us, evolving means continuing to innovate without losing our identity,” says Tirelli. The new management will aim to strengthen the product to meet the expectations of an increasingly demanding and sophisticated international clientele, enhancing dialogue with foreign markets while preserving the exclusivity that characterizes the brand.

Founded in 2002 and based in Podenzano (Piacenza), Absolute Yachts designs and manufactures internally luxury yachts from 47 to 75 feet, available in three iconic lines: Navetta, Flybridge, and Coupé. Production takes place inside a state-of-the-art 65,000-square-meter manufacturing facility designed with low environmental impact: the facility is in fact equipped with geothermal systems and solar panels, as well as advanced air filtration systems and sustainable management of waste materials.
