Ampermarine and Supernavi sign agreement for the distribution of Wuwled wireless underwater spotlights

Ampermarine ‘s Wuwled underwater spotlights find in Supernavi their exclusive distributor for Italy. The two companies, in fact, signed an important agreement at the last Venice Boat Show that will increase the installation of Wuwled spotlights on board both newly built and refitted boats.

Founded in 1974 in Lignano Sabbiadoro as a nautical repair company, Supernavi is today a renowned and esteemed reality in the refitting sector thanks to its established expertise and professionalism, as well as for being highly specialized in technical consultancy on large yachts and in insurance surveys.

In recent years Ampermarine has designed and developed Wuwled spotlights, innovative diving lights that can be installed without the need to drill holes in the hull for electrical connections: unlike other spotlights on the market, in fact, Wuwled spotlights receive the electricity they need to be powered through a revolutionary wireless power supply system.

Pietro Carlet, owner of Supernavi, explains the reasons for the agreement: “Although our company specializes in other sectors, over the years we have always looked with interest also at technological innovations in the boating field. This is why we decided to sign the distribution agreement with Ampermarine, whom we met in 2020 at the Düsseldorf boat show, where the company was presenting the Wuwled spotlights. By surveying and repairing so many boats, we immediately realized the enormous potential of this product, which solves one of the biggest safety problems caused by traditional underwater spotlights, namely the need to puncture the hull causing the risk of water infiltration. In Ampermarine we have met a very serious and well-prepared company, which has brought all its consolidated experience gained in the automotive sector to the boating industry: we are therefore certain that our efforts and investments will succeed in making these spotlights as popular as they deserve”.

As part of its commercial strategy, Ampermarine will be exhibiting at the next Cannes Yachting Festival, scheduled to take place from 6 to 11 September 2022, to fully present its entire range of products designed and built for the boating sector.
