Aquila 54 Yacht: the video review of a simply immense power catamaran

A reliable, sturdy, and high-performance power catamaran. With the Aquila 54 Yacht video, we’re kicking off a brand-new series of boat reviews in video format—an all-new multimedia production by The International Yachting Media group. The Aquila 54 Yacht video is hosted by Luca D’Ambrosio, an internationally recognized tester, journalist, and editor-in-chief of The International Yachting Media.

Subtitled in ten languages, the video was met with immediate public acclaim, racking up an impressive number of views just days after its release.
Enjoy it!

The Aquila 54 Yacht video comes just a few weeks ahead of the launch of a new format announced last January. Born from a collaboration with the TV show Enjoy Side, the project will feature Barbara Kal, a well-known television host, and Iacopo Vannini, director and TV producer, as part of the team.

Sea trials, along with the Aquila 54 Yacht video, will be published across all The International Yachting Media platforms, which include six yachting magazines released in 17 international editions.

Aquila 54 Yacht Video: our review

We chose to film our first video on the Aquila 54 Yacht because, over the past five years, the power catamaran segment has seen the greatest increase in units sold. Aquila Power Catamarans is the undisputed leader in this market.

The Aquila 54 Yacht we tested for the video is a special version featuring an enclosed flybridge. This large power catamaran boasts no less than three expansive decks. The spaces are generous and extraordinary—from the galley to the cabins to the outdoor areas, everything is truly out of the ordinary. The high level of onboard comfort is enhanced by a large-capacity refrigerator and a range of interior configurations with 3, 4, or 5 cabin options, including the possibility of crew quarters and a layout with the galley on the lower deck.

A particularly appealing feature is the master cabin located forward, which spans the full beam of the hull and is bathed in natural light thanks to large side windows that offer a panoramic view and amplify the sense of space. The bathroom is also suite-sized, with double sinks and an exceptionally large separate shower. The two VIP cabins are also spacious and comfortable—larger than standard—with queen-size beds and two separate heads, each with its own shower. Rounding out the sleeping quarters is a fourth cabin with bunk beds, its en-suite bathroom, and storage space.

Other areas that impressed us include the beach club, which can be set up in two different configurations, and the enclosed flybridge, designed with a solid glass windshield, a dinette, and a helm station offering an immense, unobstructed view.

But there are many more special features on this power catamaran—for a full look, just watch the video.
