Comfort and safety. These are the hallmarks of Azimut Magellano 76. After all, with a name which echoes to the promicence of the famous Lusitanian sailor and his travels, things couldn’t be different.

The Piedmontese shipbuilder has exploited its ten-year experience to create a new range of trawlers, with different sizes, able to be innovative and to meet the shipowners’ needs, with an engaging design.

So, in 2009, the launch of Magellano 74, the head of the range between tradition and modernity, with large volumes and essential lines, an inspiration model for the following boats.

The spirit of this range is unique and constant and it aims to all those who love sea and who desire comfort and safety even in difficult weather conditions.

Magellano 76, one of the biggest models of the range, owes much to its 64′ sister. First of all, the keel equipped with the Dual-Mode system for lower or faster speed.

Then, the important but well-balanced fore volumes, which make navigation fluid by reducing pitching. The vertical stempost “cuts” waves for a greater comfort.

The fiberglass flybridge hard top, perfectly integrated with the boat’s design, is one of the hallmarks of Magellano line.

Materials have been chosen properly for the best solutions of employment. The outermost part of the hull has  been built in vynelestere and isophthalic resins, while the most vulnerable parts exploit a sandwich technology.

Magellano 76 offers more versatility and freedom than the other models, starting from the innovative distribution of spaces.

Spaces in the main bridge are larger, especially in the deckhouse ( half a metre larger and with an additional solarium) and in the astern part which, thanks to an extra of 60 centimetres compared with Magellano 74, can enlarge the sunbathing platform  and add a travel lift.

From the bathing platform you can reach the two crew cabins, a detail which – combined with the exclusive entrance to the fore shipowner’s cabin – ensures privacy to both the crew and passengers. The astern zone is protected by the innovative extension of the flybridge hardtop and it is equipped with a beautiful sofa. The possibility to add a teak table winks to conviviality moments.

Also the flybridge is conceived to enjoy some pleasant moments during navigation or in the dock. There are in fact two large seats in the control station, for the captain and another passenger. Behind, a living room with a large C-shaped sofa and a big table. For those who love sunbathing, the fore flybrige can be equipped with beach and  sun chairs.

In the deck, too, design saves nice surprises.

Interiors are particularly elegant and comfortable. The big starboard table and the huge port sofa invite to conviviality, while the small kitchen next to the pilot house is a triumph of rationality and elegance, which will satisfy even the most demanding chef.

All the rooms enjoy the warm effect of the wooden furnishings and windows, with a bright cozy result.

The fore control station is next to a desk and it offers a very technological pilot house, with manoeuvre intercom, two comfortable armchairs and a huge windscreen.

The basic layout has two crew cabins, three guest cabins and a shipowner’s cabin. Nevertheless, the shipowner can renounce to one of the guest cabins for a relaxation area for all passengers.

The shipowner’s cabin has lateral windows, it is decorated with fine leather and marbles and it is equipped with bookcases, wardrobes and desks in order to let the shipowner feel “chez soi”.

Guest cabins are well-decorated, with elegant furniture and a private bathroom.

The safety ensured by Azimut’s experience and the innovations of this Magellano 76 will be certainly able to conquer the heart of everyone.
