At the Boat Show of La Grande Motte, the most important exhibition dedicated to multihulls in Europe, you will find the new Nautitech 40 Open, the last Bavaria’s creation, whose official launch is due on April 13 th, the first day of the event.

After the successful Nautitech 40 Open, this model represents a step forward for the multihull department of the German company (which builds its catamarans following the French tradition of the shipyards of Rochefort, featured by a 30-year-old experience in multihull construction). The project is by Marc Lombard, who payed much attention to water lines and sailing performances, while interior functional and contemporary design is by Stéphane Roséo.

The heart of Nautitech 46 if, of course, its large cockpit which, as usual on modern cruise multihulls, converts into a larger space by linking to the inner hall through some big sliding windows (from this feature, the Open name of the line). This configuration allows a comfortable life aboard, during navigation and in the harbour.

The two rudder wheels moved back to the extreme poop will allow to the helmsman to not be excluded from conversation and the opportunity of a better view.

As regards interiors, there are two versions available, with three or four cabins, each one with a private bathroom: the three-cabin-version has a very large shipowner’s room provided with a bed, a bathroom, a shower and a well- equipped working space.
