Elan GT6 nominated for the European Yacht of the Year Award

Elan’s new flagship model, the 49ft GT6, has been shortlisted for European Yacht Of The Year Award, one among the international boating industry’s most prestigious awards. Less than two months after the launch, the flagship model of the Begunje na Gorenjskem-based shipyard achieves its first recognition.

Designed to be easily handled by a couple, yet capable of exhilarating performance across a wide range of wind and sea conditions with a thoroughbred ‘feel’ at the helm, the GT6 is optimised for fast, medium-range offshore passage-making.

Its hull, drawn by Humphreys Yacht Design, combines race-derived features with the ability to carry a full cruising payload. As its name implies, the Elan GT6 is a seagoing Grand Tourer.

The flush deck, an absolute innovation for this boat category, makes the GT6 unique. Thanks to her elegant silhouette and iconic good looks, she will turn heads in any marina. Key features include a next-generation ergonomic cockpit with gull-wing helm pedestals and a fully flush foredeck.

Balance, easy handling and precision are the main strenghts of this boat.

Below deck, comfort, practicality and luxury reach revolutionary levels, cleverly combined with high technology, essential and clean lines.

Light shades and wood finishes characterize every space. An elegant and spacious panoramic lounge offers a 180-degree view while the innovative interior layout optimizes the spaces. The galley is positioned above the bulb for more comfort on board with less roll and pitch.

The sophisticated master suite, with king-size island bed, makes the most of the space forward. The window gives a lot of light and offers beautiful views.

Premium materials are used throughout, showcasing the fine craftsmanship of Elan’s artisan shipwrights and giving an exciting cruising experience.

The Slovenian 15-meter boat is offered with various layout to better meet the owner’s needs, available with three cabins and two bathrooms or two cabins and two bathrooms.
