Grand Soleil Cup 2026 and Cantiere del Pardo Week: racing, community and previews in Porto Cervo

The 2026 sailing season is getting ready to welcome one of its most anticipated events, combining sporting competition, a strong sense of community and the opportunity for owners to connect and share experiences. Registrations are now officially open for the Grand Soleil Cup 2026, the regatta dedicated to Grand Soleil owners organized by Cantiere del Pardo, which will return to the waters of Porto Cervo from May 21 to 23, set against the stunning backdrop of the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda.

Once again, the event will represent the sporting heart of the Cantiere del Pardo Week, a full week designed to bring together the community of owners from the group’s various brands in a setting that goes far beyond pure competition.

Already successfully tested in previous editions, the format is now firmly established as an occasion that blends racing with exchange, encouraging connections and fostering a strong sense of belonging among owners.

Grand Soleil Cup and Cantiere del Pardo Week: regatta and a multi-brand gathering

Following the well-received 2024 edition, the return to Porto Cervo is no coincidence. Porto Cervo and the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda have for decades been two of the most iconic venues in international sailing, where sporting tradition, top-level competition and prestige coexist naturally. Much of the credit goes to a racecourse that is technically challenging, visually stunning and capable of offering what are effectively ideal conditions for spectacular contests between high-performance yachts, confirming its status as one of the most appreciated in the Mediterranean.

The event will open with the Cantiere del Pardo Week, which from May 20 to 23 will combine the sporting dimension of the regatta with a broader program designed to encourage interaction among owners of both sailing and motor yachts, strengthening their sense of belonging to the same community. Particularly significant will be the presence of two other brands from the group—Pardo Yachts and VanDutch Yachts. Selected models from their respective ranges will be available for sea trials, giving owners and guests the opportunity to experience the shipyard’s full offering firsthand. Bringing together the group’s three identities within a single event reflects the strategic evolution of Cantiere del Pardo, increasingly focused on consolidating a strong multi-brand identity while maintaining a coherent and shared vision.

One of the most interesting aspects of the 2026 edition will be the opportunity for owners to preview and test the new Grand Soleil sailing models, which will later be officially unveiled at the autumn boat shows. This exclusive opportunity allows guests to experience the product directly at sea, in its natural environment, several months ahead of its public debut.

Between racing, sea trials and social moments, the Grand Soleil Cup 2026 and Cantiere del Pardo Week once again confirm themselves as one of the most compelling events of the international yachting season, combining sport, global prestige and a strong spirit of sharing in one of the most iconic and evocative settings in the Mediterranean.
